(AP) — Airbnb will prohibit one-night rentals over Halloween weekend as part of its ongoing effort to crack down on party houses. The action comes nearly a year after a deadly shooting at an Airbnb in Orinda, Calif. Five people were killed in the shooting, which happened during an unauthorized Halloween party. Airbnb says it will ban one-night rentals of entire homes in the U.S. and Canada on Oct. 30 or Oct. 31. Previously booked rentals will be canceled and Airbnb will offer refunds. "Superman" star Margot Kidder died at age 69, multiple outlets reported. Kidder played the role of Lois Lane in the 1978 "Superman" movie and later starred in three of the movie's sequels with Christopher Reeve. Kidder died Sunday in Montana, according to TMZ. The cause of death is unknown. Kidder has been involved in a number of different films, including a couple appearances in the show "Smallville." Kidder had two roles that are in pre-production, according to imdb.com.   522

LOS ANGELES (KGTV) -- Comedian Kevin Hart suffered “major back injuries” following a crash in Los Angeles early Sunday morning, TMZ reports. According to TMZ, the crash happened around 1 a.m. in Malibu Hills along the Mulholland Highway and Cold Canyon Road. Police tell TMZ Hart was not driving at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle also sustained major back injuries. A woman who was also in the car at the time of the crash didn’t require treatment. KABC reports that the three were riding in Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when the driver lost control, veered off the road and rolled down an embankment.
