Walt Disney World is extending its parks hours ahead of Halloween weekend.Back on Sept. 8, the park reduced its hours because of a drop in attendance due to the coronavirus pandemic.Well, it looks like Disney has changed course and will stay open an hour longer in most parts of their park.According to the calendar on its website, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.Until recently, it was closing at 8 p.m. on the weekends. Now, it'll remain open until 9 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in November, as well as on three Sundays: Nov. 8, 15, and 22, according to the calendar.Magic Kingdom will stay open until 9 p.m. throughout the week, beginning Nov. 9 up through Thanksgiving weekend.The calendar also showed that Epcot would close at 9 p.m. on Fridays and 10 p.m. on Saturdays. WASHINGTON (AP) — An American citizen kidnapped in the West African nation of Niger this past week has been rescued in a U.S. military operation in neighboring Nigeria. That's according to a U.S. official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. Philipe Nathan Walton was taken from his farm in Massalata in southern Niger early Tuesday morning by armed kidnappers who demanded a ransom from the man's father. The U.S. official says there were no solid indications that Walton's kidnapping was terrorism-related and that it was instead "trending toward a kidnapping for ransom." (KGTV) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the San Diego Sheriff's Department need your help identifying the man responsible for an attempted bank robbery on the 1700 block of University Drive. The man entered the Bank of America on Thursday around 1:30 p.m., pulling his gray, hooded sweatshirt over his head he approached the teller and handed over a note demanding money. The robber was denied money and departed the bank on foot. The investigation indicates the man may have used the “Sprinter” train to escape from the area.
