President Donald Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday as part of a Veterans Day ceremony.Trump laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in an act that has become a Veterans Day and Memorial Day tradition for presidents in the years since the remains of several unidentified U.S. soldiers who fought in World War I were interred at the cemetery in 1921.In the years since, remains of other unidentified soldiers from World War II and the Korean War have since been interred in the area. The remains of a U.S. soldier who fought in the Vietnam War were briefly interred in the tomb before scientists identified them as those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie. Blassie's remains were removed from the tomb in 1998 upon his family's request.The Tomb has come to represent all U.S. soldiers who have been killed or remain missing in action.The wreath-laying ceremony was Trump's first on-camera public appearance since most media outlets projected Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election.Prior to Wednesday, Trump's last on-camera public appearance came on Nov. 5 when he held a press conference at the White House to falsely claim victory in the 2020 presidential race citing baseless claims of widespread voter fraud. 1277

Bush, Wednesday at a state funeral for the 41st president of the United States.The younger Bush choked up as he quoted his father's inaugural address from 1989."In his inaugural address, the 41st President of the United States said this: 'We cannot hope to only leave our children a bigger car, a bigger bank account,'" Bush said. "'We must hope to give them a sense of what it means to be a loyal friend, a loving parent. A citizen who leaves who home, his neighborhood and his town a better place than when he found it. What do we want the men and women who work with us to say when we are no longer there? Residents of a neighborhood on Chicago's North Side are living in fear, hoping that ,000 in reward money can help solve two brazen killings on their normally safe streets.Investigators believe the same man is behind both slayings -- the victims were killed by the same gun and in the same manner -- and that the suspect lives in the Rogers Park neighborhood or somewhere nearby."Both shootings came from the same gun and likely the same suspect," Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said. "There is nothing on our end right now that points to these two people actually knowing each other."Douglas Watts, 73, was walking his dogs September 30 when a gunman shot him in the head, police said. It was about 10 a.m.Ladi Ogunnunbi was headed to church shortly before Watts was killed and saw the suspect walking away from him. Ogunnubi had forgotten something and went back to his apartment, he said."I ran back in to go get that, and when I come back out, within a minute or two, I started to see cops and a bit of chaos," he said. RAMONA (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash today on the Barona Indian Reservation.A motorcycle was hit and ended up underneath a Ford sedan around 1:30 p.m. on Wildcat Canyon Road more than a mile south of Little Klondike Road, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. The area is about halfway between Barona Resort and Casino and the community of Ramona.Passersby stopped and were able to pull the motorcyclist out from underneath the car, but the biker succumbed to injuries suffered in the crash, the CHP said.The northbound lane of the road was shut down.Identifying information on the victim was not immediately available. 659

They suggest checking for eggs on trees before choosing one to take home. Also, you may want to leave it in a garage for a few days before taking it inside.Las Vegas Fire & Rescue shared several Christmas tree safety tips on their Facebook page recently.They suggest picking a tree with fresh needles, not placing trees near a heat source, daily watering and turning off lights when not at home or asleep. 615
