Philadelphia Police have released 911 audio from an arrest at a local Starbucks that has prompted national outrage.The audio was uploaded to the Philadelphia Police's YouTube page on Tuesday. "Hi, I have two gentlemen in my cafe that are refusing to make a purchase or leave. I'm at the Starbucks at 18th and Spruce," a female caller tells at dispatch officer.The officer told the caller that police would be out "as soon as possible."The recording also included dispatches between officers. At one point, officers request "another unit along with a supervisor" for help dealing with a two men "causing a disturbance" at the coffee shop.Later, officers inform dispatch that they've made two arrests and are en route back to headquarters.Following the arrest, Starbucks would decline to press charges and the men would be released. The woman who called police was reportedly the manager of the store. She has "left the store" while Starbucks investigates the matter.Video of the arrest filmed by a customer at the shop has been shared thousands of times on social media and prompted a rebuke by the company's CEO. (KGTV) — An unusual fossil deposit was discovered during construction at the State Route 11/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry Project, yielding remains that may be up to 28 million years old.The state Department of Transportation says skeletal remains of extinct mammals — including camels, oreodonts, rodents, and possibly a large carnivore — were discovered at the site of the SR-11 and Otay Mesa East Port of Entry project.The fossils are estimated to be somewhere between 16 to 28 million years old, or Earth's Tertiary Period, and could provide more insight into our area's history.Paleo Monitors from the San Diego Natural History Museum found the remains in what appears to be a new geologic formation that has yet to be mapped in the region. The area also contains plant fossils and volcanic bombs (or pieces of rock ejected by a volcano), the DOT says.The Nat will curate and catalog the fossils into its paleontology program.The construction project, which will create a new port of entry into the country, will continue as planned, the state said. 1080

Police said a two-year old boy died after ingesting medication at his grandmother’s house in Henrico County, Virginia Friday afternoon, according to WTVR-TV.Lt. Richard Brown with Henrico Police said the two-year-old swallowed up to 12 adult-dosage pills before he was transported to VCU Medical Center where he died.Officials said his body has been transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine his exact cause of death.When reporters arrived at the home Saturday, social services workers were inside investigating.The family’s spokesperson, Ricky Johnson, said he could not provide additional information since Kejon Edwards’ death is still under investigation.“We suffered a loss and we are just asking that you pray for this family and pray for this community,” said Johnson with the Ricky Johnson and Friends Foundation. “The family is asking for privacy right now, while we try to figure this out. We’re just lost for words right now.”?Neighbors said the victim has two siblings.“It’s a tragedy and I’m going to miss him,” one neighbor said.Officers said the incident remains under investigation. Pharmacists will be instrumental in getting the first round of COVID-19 vaccines out, especially for the most vulnerable.Walgreens and CVS have a deal with the U.S. Department of Health to go into more than 50,000 long-term care facilities. Both companies are still recruiting pharmacists, nurses and pharmacy technicians.“I am absolutely supportive of getting a vaccine and I will be the first in line when I am eligible to get one. I believe in vaccines. I believe in the science of vaccines,” said Tasha Polster, who deals with pharmacy quality, compliance and patient safety at Walgreens.Once the vaccine is more widely available, people will be able to sign up online to get the vaccine at a pharmacy location.Walgreens plans to work with communities to set up COVID-19 vaccine sites in other locations, like they do with the flu shot.“We work with churches and local community centers in underserved populations to bring the vaccine to those patients that would you know need them,” said Polster.Speaking of the flu, the pandemic has brought some encouraging news on that front.Walgreens created special map models to show what the flu season has done so far this year compared to last year.
