The bar where everyone knows your name is closing permanently.After 20 years, the "Cheers" bar at Boston's Faneuil Hall Marketplace is closing.According to CBS Boston, the owner said the decision to close was because of the landlord and the coronavirus pandemic.The Faneuil Hall bar and restaurant is a replica of the bar on the TV show, which ran from 1982 to 1993. Tara Batista spent a week in the hospital after visiting one of her favorite spas for a pedicure. Now she's tethered to a picc line for six weeks and under the daily care of a home health nurse.Batista, who sings at Puerto Rican festivals, says the ordeal has turned her life upside down emotionally, physically and economically.Tampa-based WFTS asked if there was anything different about this pedicure and Batista said she told the woman working on her feet to ease up a bit because it felt like the instruments were digging too far into her skin.Batista says she began to feel weak hours after leaving Nail Image in Tampa. By the next day she experienced extreme fatigue and pains began shooting up her leg.A day and a half later family members drove Batista to the emergency room when part of her foot turned black and she could not stand on her left leg. Doctors diagnosed her with a severe infection. Batista underwent surgery and remained in the hospital for a week. WFTS obtained her medical records which cite a deep injury triggered by a bacterial infection on her left big toe.WFTS took the hospital report to Nail Image along with the receipt from her pedicure. The owner refused to comment. There is no conclusive proof that the pedicure caused the infection.Lee Timberlake instructs students at the Artistic Nails and Beauty academy in Tampa. She spends 155 hours of a 240 hour curriculum teaching sanitizing and disinfecting procedures.Timberlake who has taught nail technicians for 10 years says instruments should be scrubbed then placed into a disinfectant between every customer. The Barron County Sheriff is asking the public for help in the search for 13-year-old Jayme Closs, who went missing after her parents were shot to death in their Barron, Wisconsin home. The sheriff said they need 100 people to help search the intersection of State Highway 8 and 16th Street at 2 p.m. in Barron. Barron County officials will be there to greet volunteers. Closs has been ruled out as a suspect in the double homicide and the sheriff says they believe she is in danger. Volunteers need photo identification and need to be able to walk over uneven terrain. Please wear proper footwear and bring your own water. Once 100 people are available, the sheriff said they will turn everyone else away.  745

Tesla on Thursday recalled about 123,000 Model S sedans, asking customers with cars built before April of 2016 to have their power steering bolts replaced.A Tesla spokesperson said the company has observed "excessive corrosion" of the part in some cold climates where a certain type of road salt is used.No injuries or accidents have been reported in connection with the issue, the spokesperson said.A Tesla spokesperson said that if the bolts fail, the driver should still be able to control the vehicle. The issue can make the car more difficult to steer at low speeds and to parallel park, and it should "not materially affect control at high speed."The company sent out emails to Model S owners who have cars included in the recall.The Model S has been lauded for its safety ratings, but news of this recall comes at a rough time for Tesla.Its stock price has plunged more than 25% over the past month.
