"For too long, mental health has been mostly an afterthought, despite its overwhelming impacts on communities and young people, everywhere," Guterres said in a message in observance of the World Mental Health Day.
"Gavin Yamey and I thought that is a very visible number, and we wanted to take advantage of that unfortunate milestone to push the American policy in the right direction, and to add to the many voices trying to do that," said Jamison, referring to Doctor Gavin Yamey, a global health and public policy professor at Duke University.
"For the next step, we will roll out policies as soon as possible to ensure the tax and fee cuts will be put into place, and make market entities - especially small and micro enterprises - really feel the benefits," he said.
"From the passengers' point of view, I can understand the suspension of the hitch service, but for us drivers, it's a real nightmare," he said.
"For example, in the past two years we have seen more professionals in artificial intelligence and other cutting technologies. The government is placing a lot of emphasis on it, and Chinese people are open to such new technologies, so it is likely for China to stand out."
