IOWA CITY, Iowa — A young child died due to complications from coronavirus in June, the first confirmed death of a minor in Iowa during the pandemic, the state health department belatedly announced Sunday evening.The Iowa Department of Public Health said the state medical examiner’s office concluded its case investigation Aug. 6 into the death of the child, who was under the age of 5. But the death wasn’t reported in the state’s statistics until Saturday, more than two weeks later.“The child’s death was publicly reported this weekend after ensuring the individual’s identity would remain protected and notifying the family,” the department said in a statement. “We have made every effort to protect the identity of this child, while the family grieves this devastating loss. So to buy a long gun, including an AR, you have to be 21 years old," Jason Cazes, from Washington state, told HLN's Carol Costello.Legally, people can buy rifles at 18 years old in Washington, just like in Florida. INDIANAPOLIS -- Members of a neighborhood on Indianapolis' northwest side are asking police to do something about a woman caught on camera attacking neighbors with a yard sign and threatening their lives.The woman was seen on video pulling signs out of Miguel Rios and Luvia Roman's yard and saying she'll kill them, all over a property line dispute on Twin Creeks Drive, just north of Northwestway Park.Neighbors say the woman has a history of harassing minority neighbors. Corey Banks, a neighbor from across the street, said he's been called the N-word multiple times by her. Rios and Roman bought the house next door to the woman about a year and a half ago. They say the woman has called the health department, narcotics and child protective services in an effort to get them to move."I'm scared for my life," Rios said.
