SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Ralphs grocery stores are extending their hours to help seniors and provide greater flexibility for the general public, according to Director of Corporate Affairs John Votava.All stores will open at 6 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. for shoppers 60 years and older. "They're the most vulnerable population out there today, so we want to make sure they have time to come into our stores and shop uninhibited," Votava said.Locations will remain open to the public until at least 10 p.m., some will stay open later.Ralphs is also offering free pharmacy delivery for most locations and free pickup service for most grocery orders. Families took advantage of the pickup service Sunday at the Ralphs in Mission Valley. "I think it's going to make people feel comfortable shopping in a different way. If you can order online or call it in for sure," Tim Earp said through a mask.Votava said they're working on other safety features to protect customers and their employees. Plexiglass will be installed next week at checkout counters, and decals are already on the floor to encourage social distancing at checkout.Votava also said employees are allowed to wear masks and gloves while they work.He does have one request for anyone in the store, "if you see a senior who is shopping throughout the day, please let them cut to the front of the line so they can get in and out of the store safely."Votava said this is the new normal for now, and the store hours will reflect that indefinitely. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police are searching for a man with autism and epilepsy who hasn't been seen since he left home Sunday.Guillermo Gradilla has a history of running away, his family said. In the past, he has traveled to Mexico and Los Angeles looking for relatives.  On Monday, the Metropolitan Transit System cited Gradilla for fare evasion near 750 E St., Chula Vista.  Gradilla is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.  Any information related to Gradilla should be forwarded to the San Diego Police Department at (619) 531-2000 or SDPD Missing Persons Unit at (619) 531-2277.   705

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego has unveiled its first new trolley station in over a decade as city leaders gathered to celebrate Friday.The Courthouse Station is located at the south side of C Street between State and Union streets.The station will replace the American Plaza station as the new endpoint to Metropolitan Transit System’s Orange Line.The first new station since 2005 began to serve passengers Sunday. Aside from being located outside the city’s new 22-story courthouse, the station is located within close access to 44,500 jobs.Construction of the new station began in August. 598

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said Friday a new review of the death of Rebecca Zahau, whose body was found hanging at the Spreckels Mansion in Coronado in 2011, found no evidence she "died at the hands of another," and the department will not reopen the case.The review, conducted this year, involved officials from the Sheriff's Major Crimes Division, Sheriff's Homicide Detail, Sheriff's Crime Lab, County Medical Examiner's Office and Coronado Police Department who were not part of the original investigation. The team looked at the case with "fresh eyes", Gore said.Zahau, 32, was the girlfriend of the mansion’s owner, Arizona pharmaceutical CEO Jonah Shacknai. Two days before her death, Zahau had been babysitting Shacknai’s 6-year-old son Max when he was seriously injured in a fall down the home’s staircase. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man suspected of threatening a Target employee with a razor during a robbery.Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. on March 25 at the Target on the 1200 block of Camino Del Rio North.According to police, a loss prevention officer noticed a man inside the store he recognized from previous encounters.Police say the man grabbed three memory cards and attempted to remove them from their cases.After removing one of the memory cards and placing it in his pocket, the man was confronted by the officer who followed him to the exit.The suspect then threatened the officer with a folding razor knife he removed from his waistband.The suspect is described as a six-foot tall 28-year-old white male wearing a tan colored long-sleeve dress shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2299. 951
