PASADENA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A float in the Rose Parade unexpectedly caught fire Tuesday morning. Video shows the Chinese American Heritage Foundation’s train float proceeding down its normal route when suddenly smoke begins to appear. Later in the video, the float can be seen stopping, backing up traffic along the route. The Rose Parade’s Twitter account tweeted that the fire was due to “technical difficulties.” One of the 2019 #RoseParade floats is experiencing technical difficulties at Orange Grove and Colorado. Police in Ohio are searching for a man who pulled out a gun in a McDonald’s drive-thru because he was upset the restaurant didn’t have any McMuffins available.WKBN-TV reports that two men in a black Ford Taurus went through a McDonald’s drive-thru in Warren, Ohio  at about 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The man appeared to be in their early 20s.When told the restaurant did not have any McMuffins at the time, the driver of the car pulled out a gun and called the McDonald’s employee “an offensive name,” according to WFMJ-TV. The pair then sped away.According to the Associated Press, no one was hurt during the incident. The manager of the store told Warren police that he would review surveillance footage to see if the incident was caught on video. 768

OTAY MESA, Calif. (KGTV) - Eight border wall prototypes constructed in South San Diego County are in the process of being dismantled Wednesday, according to Customs and Border Protection officials. "At this point, we have learned a lot from them, but we don't necessarily have a purpose or use for them anymore, and we will be bringing them down," a CBP official told CNN. RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Candidate describes border wall prototype “Those are not things that the [congressional] language necessarily precludes and they're items that we have been able to add to our tool kit," added the official. The prototypes, which stand 30 feet tall, are in the path of the secondary border fence project, a Border Patrol source told 10News. The Department of Homeland Security hired companies to build the prototypes, which were finished in October 2017. Over two months, Customs and Border Protection officials tested the walls using power tools, hand tools, and other methods. The CBP evaluated the prototypes to determine if anyone could get through by climbing or digging. Police searched early Thursday for a man who robbed a Nashville area pizza chain at gunpoint.Metro Nashville Police officers were called to the Domino's Pizza on Hamilton Crossing in Antioch at about midnight Thursday.  Two employees told officers they heard the drive-thru bell go off, and saw a Toyota Camry parked a short distance from the window. When one of the employees approached the window, he told officers a man who had been crouching below the window jumped up and pointed a handgun at the worker.Police said the suspect then crawled through the drive-thru window and demanded the workers empty the cash register. He took the cash and left the Domino's through the drive-thru window. The victims told police they saw the suspect get into the white Toyota Camry they saw parked away from the window. Neither Domino's worker was hurt in the robbery. Investigators don't have much in the way of a description of the suspect, as the victims told them he had his face covered with a black and white bandana. Officers at the scene told us there is surveillance video that they are reviewing. Police in Delray Beach, Florida are looking for the person accused of attacking a 60-year-old man with a skateboard Sunday afternoon. The victim told police that a younger man used a skateboard as a weapon after the two exchanged words just before noon in the Dotterel Road neighborhood.The victim said he and his wife were walking around their property when they encountered a young man in a dark t-shirt, baggy shorts and dark skater sneakers.The victim's wife told police that she took a picture of the suspect because they have had problems with young men on skateboards damaging cars in the parking lot.The man with the skateboard told the victim to move, but he refused.Police said the suspect swung the skateboard, missing the victim, who fell to the ground. As he got up, he told officers that he unsuccessfully tried to push the attacker away. However the suspect, holding the skateboard in both hands, hit the man on the left side of his head, leaving him with a cut on his left ear and swelling on his head. Delray Beach Fire Rescue treated the victim at the scene of the attack. 1163
