HONG KONG, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region opened its official Facebook account on Tuesday.
"The direction of the PBOC's policy is very clear, but it will resort to an orderly and progressive approach," Zeng Gang, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told Xinhua in an interview.
"However, through discussion, engagement, and cooperation, the two countries can work together to minimize conflict and promote prosperity in each of their respective homelands as well as in the world more broadly," said the expert.
According to the city's five-year plan on rail construction released on Friday, the total length of operational rails will exceed 900 km by 2020.
He said China stands ready to expand cooperation with Iran under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
