But none of those lawsuits have proved any systematic fraud or consequential error in U.S. voting systems.Trump has also not been helped by the newly-conservative Supreme Court and the hundreds of federal judges that he's appointed. WARNER SPRINGS, Calif. (KGTV) - Just ahead of Thanksgiving, a driver had a rare encounter with two wild turkeys on a highway in northeast San Diego County this week. Patrice Malloy was driving south on SR-79 to the community of Warner Springs Wednesday morning when she spotted the turkeys ahead of her on the road. “They were right in front of me; they wouldn’t move,” said Malloy. She slowed her Mini Cooper and honked, but that only attracted the birds’ attention. She grabbed her camera to get proof of the unusual confrontation. “There’s always wildlife,” Malloy said, noting this was her first experience with wild turkeys. “I’ve dodged quail…and there are coyotes.” Eventually, another car approached from behind, which drew the ire of the turkeys. Malloy used the opportunity to drive away, flashing her lights at other drivers to warn them about the wildlife hazard. As negotiators went home from the Capitol Wednesday, agreement seemed near on legislation that would extend help to individuals and businesses and ship coronavirus vaccines to millions. Warning: Video attached is disturbingLAFAYETTE, La. -- Louisiana State Police are investigating after a Black man was shot and killed by officers in Lafayette, Louisiana, on Friday.State police say shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday, the Lafayette Police Department responded to a disturbance involving a person armed with a knife at a convenience store. Officers encountered 31-year-old Trayford Pellerin of Lafayette in the parking lot of the convenience store on NE Evangeline Thruway. As officers tried to apprehend Pellerin, troopers say he fled the scene and a foot pursuit ensued. Officers deployed Tasers as they pursued Pellerin, but they were ineffective.Pellerin, who was still armed with a knife, attempted to enter an occupied convenience store along the NW Evangeline Thruway. Officers discharged their weapons and Pellerin was struck by gunfire.Pellerin was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No officers were injured.The officers have been placed on administrative leave, according to the spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department.The investigation is active and ongoing. Investigators with the state police will be reviewing body cam video from Lafayette police.Video being widely shared on Facebook shows a man with what witnesses said was a knife in his hand walking away from police toward a convenience store.
