LONDON, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Tourism visas for visitors to Britain from China are to be valid for two years as from 2016, Prime Minister David Cameron announced Wednesday.

"This is a vital relationship of the 21st century, and we have to be upfront about our differences, because they are preventing us from reaching the full potential of our cooperation," Rice said.

Pointing out that both China and the United States are permanent members of the UN Security Council, Xi said China and the United States bear special responsibilities of safeguarding world peace and security and share a wide range of common interests in the UN peacekeeping issue.

"And, we will continue taking steps to build a productive, cooperative relationship with China that delivers benefits for both our peoples. That's a central pillar of our strategy in Asia," she said.
