SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A driver was killed and several teens were injured Tuesday night in a high-speed solo vehicle crash along State Route 905 in south San Diego.The crash happened on the westbound lanes near the Beyer Boulevard off-ramp about 9:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.The driver lost control of the dark-colored Chrysler 300, struck the center divide, and was ejected from the car. The victim was declared dead at the scene. It was initially reported that the driver, a 21-year-old male, was a teenager. Firefighters worked to extricate two passengers trapped in the rear passenger seats, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.The injured victims, three males and two females ranging in age between 15- to 21-years-old, were transported to UCSD and Scripps Mercy for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown at this time.CHP officers are investigating if drugs, alcohol, or distracted driving contributed to the crash.Investigators are asking anyone that witnessed the crash to contact the California Highway Patrol.The Beyer Boulevard on-ramp to the westbound state Route 905 was shut down until at least midnight, according to the CHP. 1191

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - UC San Diego Health is opening a new clinic Monday in the Carmel Valley neighborhood.The 8,700-square-foot clinic, located at 6030 Village Way, will offer primary care and women's health services, according to UCSD Health. X-ray services and express care will be added to the clinic in 2021."Like all of our clinics, the Pacific Highland Ranch clinic is designed to support appropriate physical distancing, said UCSD Health Physician Group CEO Dr. Christopher Kane. "Patients can check in for an appointment and pay any copays using a contact-free option at a guest kiosk or with a mobile application."Walk-ins will be accepted at the clinic, which will be open eight hours a day, seven days a week, to address common health needs, including coughs, colds and simple fractures or sprains.In 2019, UCSD Health opened a clinic in Encinitas -- which offers pediatrics, primary care and express care -- and a clinic in Eastlake offering primary care, express care and imaging capabilities.UCSD Health also opened a clinic in the Rancho Bernardo area in 2018 that offers urgent care, advanced imaging, an optical boutique, primary care, women's health, occupational medicine, behavioral health, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology and a retail pharmacy open to the public.Flu immunizations are also available at all clinics for the 2020-2021 flu season.An annual flu vaccine is especially important this year with flu season coinciding with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to UCSD Health. 1522

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The two owners and two employees of San Diego-based pornographic website GirlsDoPorn.com were charged with federal sex trafficking counts Thursday, with prosecutors alleging the defendants coerced and threatened the victims into appearing in online pornography videos.According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, numerous young women who initially responded to ads for modeling jobs were deceived by the defendants to appear in adult films.Once the victims learned the work involved pornography, the defendants allegedly told them the videos would be distributed to private clients, and not disseminated on the internet.RELATED: San Diego porn case: Civil trial against porn website operators beginsProsecutors say the women were "pressured into signing documents without reviewing them and then threatened with legal action or outing if they failed to perform." Others were not allowed to leave the shoots -- which were conducted at various San Diego hotels -- until the videos were completed, which sometimes involved sex acts the victims initially declined to perform, prosecutors say.Website owners Michael James Pratt, 36, and Matthew Isaac Wolfe, 37, are charged along with porn actor Ruben Andre Garcia, 31, and administrative assistant Valerie Moser, 37. The charges carry a maximum penalty of life in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.Prosecutors say Pratt remains outstanding, while Wolfe was arrested Tuesday, and Garcia was arrested Wednesday. It was not clear when Moser was arrested, but the U.S. Attorney's Office said she is slated to be arraigned in San Diego federal court on Friday.In addition, FBI agents executed a search warrant Wednesday night at an office in the Spreckels Theatre Building in downtown San Diego, where prosecutors say the website operated from. The website and its sister sites allegedly generated more than million in revenue.The defendants are also currently involved in an ongoing San Diego civil trial in which they are being sued by 22 women who appeared in videos on the site. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- 14 building were evacuated Monday night due to a gas leak in the College Area. According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the gas leak started on the 5000 block of College Avenue around 6:10 p.m. San Diego Gas and Electric responded and were able to fix the leak. 300
