BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- China is willing to work with the United States to build and advance bilateral ties featuring coordination, cooperation and stability, on the basis of mutual respect, equal dialogue, and managing differences while seeking common ground.
China attaches great importance to the Lancang-Mekong cooperation, Wang said, adding that China stands ready to work together with the Vietnamese side to actively develop greater synergy between the Lancang-Mekong cooperation and the construction of the "new land-sea corridor" so as to give a boost to the economic development of the Mekong River areas.
He also said that the CPC and the Chinese government always put the safety of people's lives and health first, and are carrying out an intensive and orderly response.
China-EU cooperation will have more room and potential as China is pushing for further reform and opening up, said Wang, calling for reaching a high-level bilateral investment agreement as scheduled. The two sides should also strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in innovation and digital economy, and avoid taking discriminatory measures against specific countries or companies.
Chilean President Sebastian Pinera said that the Chilean side thanks the Chinese side for its great efforts, which demonstrates transparency, unity, efficiency and strong leadership, adding that public safety emergencies require concerted cooperation of the international community.
