Usually, commuters on the New York subway only have to avoid giant, pizza-loving rats. But on Monday, riders were on the lookout for a pair of goats.According to the New York's Metro Transportation Authority, a pair of goats were spotted roaming subway tracks in Brooklyn on Monday morning.According to WNBC-TV, the goats were first spotted on N train tracks near Green-Wood Cemetery. Police and animal control responded to capture the two animals.The MTA originally said that the goats were not affecting service, but WNBC later reported that trains were rerouted to allow officials to capture the goats.The goats were reportedly tranquilized and taken to an animal shelter.In a tweet on Monday, the MTA called the two delinquent goats " very baaaaad boys."  792

VERO BEACH, Fla. -- For Crystal Smith, the midday heat in Florida isn't her biggest challenge. Living in a shelter, the single mom is trying to get back on her feet.She was one of the first people working at the "Dignity Food Truck" in Vero Beach."I've just been making food, certain dishes, just learning. (The organizers) give you on the job training and actually give you a job," said Smith.Set up by the Source, a Christian Ministry outreach in Vero Beach, it is a new program for the homeless and unemployed."What our students lack is real-time training in front of real customers. That's what Dignity Food Truck gives them. It gives them real exposure in real-time, made-to-order food," said Anthony Zorbaugh, the executive director of the Source.Chef Henry Restrepo said this is his most important mission in two decades of cooking."We train them for the culinary so they can get their life back," said Restrepo.Money raised goes back into the program.The truck was made possible by a 0,000 grant from the philanthropic group Impact 100."We love the mission. We love the project itself. United Airlines is sending layoff warnings to 36,000 employees, nearly half its U.S. staff. It's the clearest signal yet of how deeply the COVID-19 pandemic is hurting the airline industry. United officials said Wednesday that they still hope to limit the number of layoffs by offering early retirement, but they have to send notices this month to comply with a law requiring that workers get 60 days' notice ahead of mass job cuts. The furloughs would include 11,000 flight attendants, 11,000 customer service and gate agents, 5,500 maintenance workers and 2,250 pilots. (KGTV) - Escondido Police shot and killed a man Saturday night steps away from the entrance to the Valley View Casino in North San Diego County, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.The shooting happened about 8 p.m. following a brief pursuit that began on the 1400 block of Timber Glen Rd. in Escondido.Lt.
