BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said Friday that China is ready to continue to provide as much support as its capacity allows for Mexico's fight against COVID-19, including helping the Latin American country purchase badly needed anti-epidemic supplies in China.
The timeline, recording major events from late December 2019 to March 2020, offered a glimpse of how China has timely released information, shared experience, and advanced international exchanges and cooperation.
"Still less should we allow new tensions and divisions to be created as a result of politicization or stigmatization," Wang, also a state councilor, made the remarks when addressing BRICS Foreign Ministers' Extraordinary Conference on COVID-19 via video link.
He said the bank feels that it was its responsibility to offer assistance after more than 20 years of existence in Zambia and that the bank has now become part of the country.
"We will discuss with our colleagues from China and we will see how we can cooperate, to improve our virus detection, our treatment and public health, and how we can work together with China," he told a daily press conference.
