NINGBO, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Sunday met with foreign representatives attending a ministerial meeting on economic and trade promotion between China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries in the city of Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province.

Noting that further macroeconomic coordination among all major economies, particularly in the Group of 20 (G20), remains a critical factor for strengthening the prospects for a vigorous and sustainable recovery worldwide, the BRICS countries pledged to work with the global community to "foster financial stability, support sustainable, stronger and inclusive growth and promote quality jobs."

This is the latest move since the State Council began a new round of restructuring and transforming government functions in March, 2013.

During their talks at the Great Hall of the People, U Thein Sein also invited Xi to visit Myanmar, saying that such a visit would promote cooperation between the two countries.

Xi will visit the four countries at the invitation of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Raul Castro, president of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba.
