CLEVELAND, Ohio -- After Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine tested positive for COVID-19 earlier on Thursday, he announced on Twitter later on Thursday that he, his wife Fran, and his staff all tested negative. DeWine took a rapid test for COVID-19 as part of the standard protocol to greet President Donald Trump on the tarmac at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland. DeWine’s office said the governor had no symptoms at the time. On Thursday afternoon in a news conference from his house, DeWine said that other than a headache, he was feeling fine. CODY, Wyo. – During an interview with Forbes, Kanye West elaborated on his decision to run for president of the United States and made several more head scratching comments.Over the course of four “rambling” hours of interviews, the magazine says the rapper confirmed that he was serious when he tweeted Saturday that he would pursue the White House.West disclosed that he would be running under a new political party, the “Birthday Party.” He reportedly said, “because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.” He said his campaign slogan is “YES!” and he’s already chosen his running mate – an obscure Wyoming preacher named Michelle Tidball.In the past, West has voiced his support of President Donald Trump, who has been seeking reelection since he took office in 2017. However, West told Forbes that he no longer supports Trump and that he was “taking the red hat off” with the interview.With West apparently entering the presidential race, many Democrats are concerned he could spoil former Vice President Joe Biden’s prospects of winning. Crews in Baltimore County, Maryland are at the scene of an explosion inside of an apartment building on Wednesday. Officials say the explosion happened on the second floor of the apartment building in the 3400 block of Carriage Hill Circle. (KGTV) — Saturday, a Coronado resident happened upon a pet carrier a cat and kittens abandoned on a sidewalk.The carrier was left near the corner of Ocean Blvd. and Marina Ave., just blocks from Coronado Beach and a dog park, according to Wayne Strickland, who found the animals."Somebody just abandoned them," Strickland said, adding he and his wife found a cat and five kittens inside the carrier. "They thought, 'well there's a place here nobody's going to see and we'll just drop them off and be gone.' Strickland added that a Facebook user claimed they too found cats abandoned on Alameda Blvd. two months ago."I don't know what the deal is, if people think they can just come over here and Coronado is a good place where they can just abandon their unwanted litter of pets," Strickland said. "But the right thing to do is take them to PAWS or the Humane Society."Just don't leave them out in the sun, in a little box ... it was a terrible thing to see."The San Diego Humane Society says anyone is welcome to make an appointment to surrender an animal or litter. CINCINNATI, Ohio — A SWAT officer with the Cincinnati Police Department was suspended after reports he allowed a civilian to don parts of his uniform on Halloween, Lt. Steve Saunders confirmed Friday. Officer John Neal was placed on administrative duty pending the results of an internal investigation. His LinkedIn profile lists him as a K-9 handler as well as a SWAT officer with the department; Saunders said he was off-duty when the incident occurred. Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputies and at least two Cincinnati lieutenants were called to Anderson Towne Center early Thursday morning, according to body camera recordings released by the sheriff's office. In one recording, a deputy mentions receiving reports of a man in SWAT gear harassing patrons.When deputies arrive, the man in question identifies himself as Neal's friend and claims to not have realized donning Neal's gear would be a problem. "I've known him for years," he says. "I didn't know this was a [expletive] issue. It was just a Halloween thing."Later in the same recording, the man asks one deputy what will happen to Neal.“It ain’t good, I can tell you that,” the deputy replies. “It’s pretty [expletive] stupid for this to be happening right now.”A bartender at a nearby restaurant told deputies the men arrived in the patrol car. The man denied having driven.In the body camera recordings, a deputy says the bartender reported the man had, while dressed in the tactical gear, grabbed her by the arm and told her she would need to be detained in his vehicle. 1619
