It took Lego builders more than 13,000 hours and more than 1 million Lego Technic pieces to recreate and assemble the car's sleek design and lines.While the actual Chiron can reach a record-setting top speed of 304 mph, this version can travel up to about 18 mph, according to the park. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – The City Council is expected to decide on a proposal that would turn two purchased hotels into housing for San Diego’s homeless, and on Monday, Mayor Kevin Faulconer made a push in favor of the plan.Part of California’s Project Homekey includes an initiative to provide more homeless Californians with permanent housing amid the COVID-19 crisis. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating following a crash involving a military Humvee Thursday night.The crash happened on eastbound Interstate 8 just west of Dunbar Lane. Five vehicles were involved in the crash.As a result of the incident, traffic was backed up on the interstate for miles. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The man accused in the death of three migrants found in the trunk of a car in August was arraigned on related charges in San Diego court Tuesday. According to court documents, Neil Edwin Valera, a U.S. citizen who lives in Mexico, was arraigned in federal court in connection with the deaths of three Chinese migrants, including a mother and her 15-year-old son. The third person in the trunk was a female. None of the victims have been identified. Authorities say Valera is a truck driver from El Paso, Texas. He was arrested at a downtown bus station Saturday.
