Lou Holtz has tested positive for the coronavirus.The 83-year-old former college football coach confirmed the test Thursday to Columbia, South Carolina, TV station WOLO.“I don’t have a lot of energy right now,” Holtz told the ABC station.Holtz led Notre Dame to the 1988 national title in a Hall of Fame career. LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A Kentucky judge delayed until Friday the release of secret grand jury proceedings in Breonna Taylor’s killing by police. That's according to the state Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s office. Kentucky's Attorney General Daniel Cameron sought a delay of a week to enable names and personal information to be redacted from the recordings. Information to be redacted included phone numbers and addresses. The motion was filed Wednesday morning, the same day a Louisville court was expected to release the audio recordings. Cameron’s spokeswoman said Wednesday that a judge granted a shorter delay, giving the attorney general until noon Friday. 670
Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooter Nikolas Cruz told a detective shortly after the February massacre that a voice in his head the night before the shooting told him to hurt people.Cruz is accused of killing 17 students and faculty at the school in Parkland, Florida. Court documents show the former student has confessed to being the gunman. However, a judge entered a plea of not guilty on Cruz's after he stood mute to the charges in March.Documents released Monday by the Broward County state attorney's office include a transcript of Cruz's conversation with a detective after his arrest on the day of the shooting, February 14.
