(KGTV) – The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man they say punched someone in the face near Julian after accusing him of trespassing.Deputies say they became aware of a series of theft-related crimes on the 5600 block of Eagle Park Road in August.The victims were outdoorsmen enjoying activities in the Cleveland National Forest. On November 6, Deputy Craig Rembold was contacted by a man who was hunting in the area on the 5th when he was accused of trespassing by a local land owner later identified as Frank Martinez, 54.During the conversation, Martinez punched the man in the face, causing significant injuries to the victim. On November 15, deputies arrested Martinez during a traffic stopped. He was taken to jail for battery and firearm violations.Martinez was arrested for battery and firearm violations. LA JOLLA (CNS) - A man was seriously injured Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle, which hit a median and rolled over a couple of times, police said.The man, 59, was driving a 2001 Toyota Tundra westbound in the 2500 block of La Jolla Parkway at about 6 a.m. when he experienced a possible medical condition, causing him to lose control of the vehicle, said Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department."The vehicle veered to the left and struck the raised concrete median," he said. "The vehicle rolled over a couple of times and came to rest in the westbound No. 1 lane, facing east."The driver sustained a spinal fracture and he was taken to the hospital.Traffic Division officers responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation, Martinez said. 789

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A boater who had been missing since Friday was rescued about 86 miles off the coast of Florida on Sunday.The U.S. Coast Guard says 62-year-old Stuart Bee was found alive on the bow of his 32-foot Sea Ray, which had capsized.Bee departed Cape Marina in Port Canaveral on Friday and didn’t return, according to the Coast Guard.Watchstanders in Jacksonville learned of the disappearance Saturday morning and were told Bee wouldn’t typically stay out on his boat overnight.An aircrew was dispatched the area and other boaters were advised to be on the lookout for Bee’s vessel.Luckily, the Coast Guard says Bee was spotted clinging to his boat at about 11 a.m. Sunday and was then transported to shore."Saving lives at sea is our highest calling. Jerome Corsi is suing Robert Mueller in federal court in the District of Columbia.Previously, the Roger Stone acquaintance testified before the Mueller grand jury and publicly released a draft version of a criminal false statements plea with the Special Counsel's Office -- to which he refused to agree.Now in the lawsuit, Corsi says federal authorities have unconstitutionally searched his electronic records and his phone.The lawsuit is the latest example of pushback from individuals called upon by Mueller to provide information in the Russia probe.Corsi claims that because he investigated Hillary Clinton's missing emails in 2016 and guessed Wikileaks would leak hacked emails from Clinton's campaign chairman, Mueller has unfairly targeted him."Defendant Mueller has threatened to indict Plaintiff Corsi and effectively put him in federal prison for the rest of his life unless Plaintiff Corsi would provide the false testimony that they demanded, even after being informed that the testimony desired would be false," Corsi wrote in the lawsuit.Corsi, who has talked about his experience with the investigation to media and on his own show, also claims that Mueller has leaked grand jury secrets without providing any specific evidence beyond an article where sources are not described.As an example, Corsi cites an ABC News article detailing how he has become a "central figure" in the Mueller probe and says Mueller spokesman Peter Carr periodically meets with journalists at the Paul coffee shop at 8th and Pennsylvania Avenue to leak information at Mueller's direction.
