A pharmacist was arrested for allegedly luring an Indiana woman to his Colorado home and then drugging and sexually assaulting her multiple times, according to a release from the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. And investigators believe there are more victims who have yet to come forward.Brent Stein, 46, was a pharmacist with Mountain Key Pharmacy in Florissant, Colorado, about 2 hours southwest of Denver. His pharmacy license was suspended this week as he was booked on three counts of sexual assault, but has since bonded out of the Teller County Detention Facility.The investigation into the allegations against Stein began on June 18, when Teller County detectives received information there was a sexual assault victim at a hospital in Colorado Springs, the sheriff’s office said.The victim told investigators that she had met Stein on a dating website and that the suspect had made promises to heal her medical conditions and that he was a pharmacist, the Teller County release read.The victim traveled from Indiana to Stein’s home, and during her stay, she claims she was given un-prescribed medication by Stein, which resulted in her being incapacitated. Investigators allege the victim was sexually assaulted multiple times by Stein while the victim was under the influence of the unknown medication.Upon further investigation, other victims have come forward to report unwanted sexual conduct by Stein, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives believe there might be other victims and are asking anyone who knows anything about this case or may be an additional victim to come forward. A Marine Corps helicopter crashed Tuesday in California during a routine training mission and all four crew members aboard are presumed dead.The CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crashed near the city of El Centro, which is near the Mexico border, around 2:35 p.m., according to a statement from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.The cause of the crash is under investigation.The four crew members' identities have not been released yet pending 24 hours after notifying their families.The CH-53 helicopters are used to transport heavy equipment and supplies, and are capable of lifting 16 tons, according to the Marines website. 631

A North Texas woman took her battle against breast cancer public, allowing the world a front row seat in the operating room while doctors perform her lumpectomy.Before heading to the hospital today, DeSoto resident Sonia Johnson spent a lot of quiet time with her family. But this morning the 50-year-old will be seen by the world as she undergoes breast cancer surgery live on Facebook.It was last December when, during a routine visit to the doctor, Johnson found out she had a tumor on her breast. It was in that moment that she became determined to use faith and positivity to beat a disease that affects one in eight women.“It’s an emotional journey, but you can’t sit,” she said. “You’ve got to be mentally ready to walk this journey. It’s a fight, it’s a fight all the way.”Johnson found she’s not alone in her fight and has gotten scores of supportive messages from breast cancer survivors — forming a sort of sisterhood. She says sharing her journey on Facebook is one way she can help others fighting the same battle.Breast surgical oncologist Allison DiPasquale, MD, will be performing the surgery. She spoke about her admiration for Johnson when talking with CBS 11 News. “This patient is courageous, she’s amazing. She’s putting her body out there for people to say, ‘Wow, I’m going to go get my mammogram and I’m going to make sure I don’t have cancer.’”Johnson said she hopes that by sharing her experience online others will get a better understanding about one of the breast cancer treatments available.“Other people paid it forward before me and now I’m pushing it and paying it forward for somebody else,” she said.During Johnson’s procedure, doctors will go through her armpit to remove her lymph nodes and cancer through the same incision and when the surgical gloves and gowns are gone Johnson plans to join that sisterhood of breast cancer survivors.“I will be able to say ‘I had cancer’. A recent study from Iowa State University’s Food Science And Human Nutrition Department found that eating cheese could help protect against age-related cognitive problems, and drinking red wine led to cognitive function improvements.According to the study published in November's Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, the team analyzed data from 1,787 adults, who ranged in age from 46 to 77, through the UK Biobank. This biomedical database contains in-depth genetic and health details of 500,000 participants.Between 2006 and 2016, participants completed a Fluid Intelligence Test (FIT) and then were assessed in two follow-up tests that gave an in-time snapshot of the participants' ability to think on the fly.The participants also answered questions about their food and alcohol intake, the study showed.According to the study, researchers found that eating cheese protected the most against age-related cognitive problems. It also showed that drinking alcohol daily, red wine, in particular, was related to improving cognitive function.Researchers also found that eating lamb weekly, but not other red meats, improved long-term cognitive prowess, the study showed.The study also found that eating excessive amounts of salt can cause cognitive problems over time. 1270

A trip to "The Happiest Place On Earth" turned into a nightmare, according to an Inland Empire woman who spent two nights at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. Ivy Eldridge was a guest at the hotel back in April, when she claims she was bitten by bed bugs, suffering physical, financial and emotional damages, according to a complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Eldridge has hired attorney Brian Virag, who specializes in bedbug litigation, to bring a lawsuit against the hotel, along with the Walt Disney Co. and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Virag claims that Eldridge was bitten all over her upper body, including her face, ears, arm, neck and back. "People put trust in the Disney name and pay top dollar to stay at the Disneyland Hotel," Virag said. "In this case, Ms. Eldridge's trust was betrayed." Virag is also currently representing Victoria's Secret model Sabrina Jales St. Pierre, in a bed bug related lawsuit being brought against Embassy Suites Palm Desert. "Bed bugs don't discriminate," Virag said. "They are found in hotels throughout the country and worldwide.
