More than 80 people were arrested after a third night of demonstrations in St. Louis over the acquittal of a former police officer who had been charged with first-degree murder.Arrests came after police officers were assaulted and "a concentrated area" was hit with vandalism including broken windows, broken sidewalk flower pots and overturned trash cans, acting Police Commissioner Larry O'Toole told media at a briefing late Sunday."Some criminals assaulted law enforcement officers and threw chemicals and rocks at them. Museums from coast to coast will have free admission on Saturday as part of Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day Live. Art museums, science centers and other attractions are participating in Saturday's event, which was created to promote STEM programs. In order to take advantage of free admission at museums, tickets are available on Smithsonian Magazine's webpage. The goalkeeper for Vanderbilt’s Southeastern Conference women’s soccer champs got her chance on the Commodores' third drive of the game. Fuller, one of three kickers on the depth chart, came out for the extra point that tied the game at 7 late in the first quarter. She put the ball through the uprights and celebrated by pulling her first in before slapping high-fives with teammates with her family celebrating in the stands. An official gave her the ball. Two weeks ago, she became the first woman to appear in a Power 5 football game in a game against Missouri with a kickoff. There have been two previous female Division I college football players, Katie Hnida for New Mexico and April Goss for Kent State.Fuller is coming off the college soccer season, playing in nine games for Vanderbilt. Last month, Fuller helped Vandy’s women’s soccer team to an SEC title by defeating Arkansas 3-1. Fuller had three saves in the match.Fuller is also using the opportunity to raise funds for charity.
