(AP) — Six former eBay Inc. employees have been charged with waging an extensive campaign to terrorize and intimidate the editor and publisher of an online newsletter with threats and disturbing deliveries to their home, including live spiders and cockroaches. Holland Partner Group, a developer, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington released renderings of the development planned for 220 West Broadway, where the old San Diego Courthouse sits. The building is a 37 stories high, with 431 residential units along with office space and retail. "It's a lot of glass, it's exciting, it's sexy. It's going to be a real centerpiece for the middle of downtown San Diego," said Sumeet Parekh with Downtown San Diego Partnership. "It's one of the densest high rise buildings in San Diego; it's gonna hit almost the height limit for downtown which is about 500 feet." Parekh says there is a high demand to live and work in downtown, and space is scarce, so building up is something that is becoming more and more common. "There are a number of projects that are being built that is in this height," Parekh said. "There are several other projects in the area that are as tall if not bigger." SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit tells 10news he's awaiting coronavirus test results for five police officers.Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the days remain busy for police, whether helping those in need, enforcing beach closures, or responding to calls. That means interactions with people who may have COVID-19."I'm waiting for results for five officers. The officers remain isolated right now. We've had some officers' tests come back negative, so that's great news," said Chief Nisleit.A police spokesperson told 10news officers have been self-reporting possible exposure, both on-duty and off-duty. A medical expert then determines if they should be tested. "We have some officers that are showing symptoms, and then we have some other officers that are isolated because they've been exposed," said Chief Nisleit.The precautions being taken by law enforcement across the county include sanitizing vehicles and social distancing, and if physical contact with the public is necessary, the use of masks, goggles and gloves. A spokesperson from Oceanside Police says they're doing more phone or online reports when possible. Dispatch and officers are also asking more questions about cold and flu-like symptoms.A video from the Chula Vista Department tells the public, "We may ask you to wear a mask." Starting Friday, Chula Vista Police will be taking an extra step. (CNN) -- A Michigan lottery winner must share the million windfall with his ex-wife, even though they were in the process of divorcing when he bought the ticket.Richard Zelasko won an million Mega Millions jackpot in July 2013 -- after taxes and fees his prize was ,873,628, according to an opinion issued last week by the Michigan Court of Appeals.The suburban Detroit man and his then-wife, Mary Elizabeth Zelasko, filed for divorce in late 2011. The case had gone to arbitration, and they were waiting for the arbitrator's opinion when Richard Zelasko won the prize.The couple were married in 2004 and have three children.The arbitrator ruled that the ticket was part of the couple's marital assets and awarded million to the wife and divided the rest of their assets, according to the opinion. He said that the "marital property includes all property acquired from the date of marriage until the date of entry of the divorce decree," including property acquired during a separation.The court also cited the arbitrator's opinion that the winning lottery ticket was probably not the first that Richard Zelesko had purchased during the marriage and that "(a)s losses throughout the marriage were incurred jointly, so should winnings be shared jointly."It's true that Zelasko spent to buy the winning ticket; however, "the dollar spent was arguably marital money and, as such, a joint investment," the arbitrator said.The appellate court said it found no errors that would require it to change the award."It's very difficult to overturn an arbitration," said Michael Robbins, who's represented Richard Zelasko since 2015.Robbins told CNN that the couple had been separated since 2009.An attorney for Mary Elizabeth Zelasko told CNN that he would not comment on the case because it is confidential.The couple's divorce was finalized in 2018.Robbins said his client can appeal the ruling and is "considering his options." 1945
