Amazon’s ascension as a corporate and retail titan has entire industries trembling at mere rumors that the company is moving into new markets. Bloomberg technology columnist Shira Ovide studies how that came to pass, by the numbers, in a new piece titled, “How Amazon Became Corporate America’s Nightmare.”
Amazon’s cloud business may get much of the attention for bolstering the company’s bottom line. But an emerging new advertising arm of Amazon is also fueling record profits for the Seattle tech giant.
Among the sports delegates was the new coach of the Chinese women's national handball team, Jesper Holmris of Denmark, who was enthusiastic about many of the exhibits.
