WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wisc. -- A Town of Merton man was charged after he called police when sex workers he hired allegedly stole his phone.Scott A Peschmann, 41, along with Victoria Pena, 24, and Maria Lebron, 27, were charged with prostitution and theft after meeting at Peschmann's home for sex, according to the criminal complaint. "Officers made contact with Scott Peschmann who indicated that three females had been at his residence and had stolen his cell phone and 0 in cash," said the criminal complaint. Peschmann had met Pena on the website, "back page," and arranged for an "intimate evening." They agreed upon a price of 0 for various sexual acts.  "Peshmann indicated that he had left four 0 bills on the corner fo the front room desk as a donation for the girls," said the criminal complaint. Peshmann noticed that his cell phone and the money were missing when Lebron went to the car to get a condom. The women were later stopped after officers spotted their vehicle and Peschman's phone was found in Lebron's purse.   1120

She would also be the first person to serve as treasury secretary, chair of the Federal Reserve, and chair of the Council of Economic Advisers.In introducing Yellen, Biden called her the most qualified person for the job,citing her work at the Fed following the economic recession of the late '00s.In referencing the hit Broadway play "Hamilton," which centers around the life of the first Secretary of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, Biden joked that Lin Manual-Miranda would eventually need to write a musical based on Yellen's life.Biden has also tapped Neera Tanden to head the Office of Management and Budget. Tanden would be the first woman of color and the first South Asian woman to lead the agency that oversees the federal budget. She currently serves as President and CEO of the Center for American Progress, an organization dedicated to advancing policies that increase opportunity for Americans.Additionally, Biden has chosen Wally Adeyemo as his deputy treasury secretary. He previously served the in the Obama-Biden administration as deputy director of the National Economic Council and deputy national security advisor. We hear it all the time--save the bees! Well, one Colorado woman has come up with an idea that could do just that.Danielle Bilot, an instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder, created the Forgotten Hive project. The initiative aims to transform parts of parking lot spaces into rest stops for bees.“These native bees, some of them can only fly about three blocks before they need more food,” explains Bilot. “And, so, if we don't have a frequent enough system, they're going to potentially die trying to get to the next big park space.”Bilot, with the help of students involved in the project, added nearly two dozen different plants at the edge of one parking lot in Boulder. The new plants, which replaced shrubs, will hopefully give bees a place to get food year-round.Bilot says there are more than 3,600 native bee species around the country, and they're not just cool to look at.“They are more efficient pollinators for crops than the honeybees we often think of,” says Bilot.Bilot visits the lot at least once a week to observe the bees and to take note of how they’re responding to the plants.“If some of them aren't attracting native bees, and we're not catching them on them, we won't plant them in the next lot,” Bilot says.The instructor hopes to spread the word and to spread hives to parking lots around her city, the country and the world.“We're looking at a large amount of urban land that can be converted into productive green space for a variety of benefits,” says Bilot. “What city wouldn't want to do that?” 1548
