BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said Friday that China is ready to continue to provide as much support as its capacity allows for Mexico's fight against COVID-19, including helping the Latin American country purchase badly needed anti-epidemic supplies in China.
The epidemic will not affect the fundamentals of Hubei's steady and long-term sound economic development, Xi said, urging implementation of policies and measures to support enterprises, stabilize employment and create more jobs.
Cui noted that China has been doing its best to restore the supply chain and to resume production, especially medical supplies.
Meanwhile, international economic cooperation should be strengthened to accelerate the construction of global logistics supply chain system and ensure the smooth flow of international freight transportation, the meeting said.
Wu Jianghao, director-general of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said Tuesday's meeting strengthened APT countries' will to coordinate, boosted their confidence and identified the direction of cooperation.
