ANTIOCH, Tennessee (WSMV) -- Exactly one week after a gunman opened fire on a Waffle House in Antioch killing four people and injuring others, community members gathered at the site to remember the victims. At exactly 3:20 this morning, people held a moment of silence, prayers and sang a song at Waffle House in honor of the victim's of last week's shooting. The group Partners in the Struggle organized the event at Waffle House this Sunday morning so that the community could gather in prayer as well as offer comfort and support to those affected by last week's shooting."What I would tell the families is [to] stay strong," said Earl Jordan of Partners in the Struggle. "God's grace and mercy [are] tremendous and we're praying. We're praying for them. We're praying for James Shaw Jr. Thank God for him, for coming out of his own self to save himself and save others."Supporters say the goal of the event is to continue the healing process and help the community move forward from the terrible tragedy. At 7 a.m., community members held another moment of silence, "standing tall" five minutes for or each of the eight victims of the Waffle House shooting. The group stood silently for 40 minutes total. 1212

An Alabama family is mourning a man killed by police Thanksgiving night after being mistaken for the shooter who injured two people at a mall.An officer fatally shot Emantic Fitzgerald Bradford Jr. about 10 p.m. CT Thursday at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, a Birmingham suburb. At the time, authorities said he got into an altercation at the mall and opened fire, injuring two people ages 18 and 12.An officer encountered an armed Bradford fleeing the scene and fatally shot him, police said. But after conducting forensic tests and talking to witnesses, investigators said Bradford might have been involved in the altercation but likely did not fire the rounds that injured the two youths. The gunman is still at large and police have not provided a name or description.Relatives are demanding answers as they mourn a man they call EJ."EJ was a devoted son and brother, who dedicated his life to serving his country and always doing the right thing," his family said in a statement."As we continue to grieve, rest assured that we are working diligently with our legal team to determine exactly what happened and why this police officer killed our son. We will never forget EJ, and ask for your continued prayers during this incredibly difficult time.""They killed him for no reason at all. He wasn't the shooter," his aunt, Catherine Jewell, told reporters. "He was a great guy. He was very respectable ... They did him wrong."Bradford's Facebook page says he was a US Army engineer. But he did not complete advanced individual training and did not serve, said Lt. Col. Manny Ortiz, an Army spokesman. The Bradford family has retained civil rights attorney Benjamin L. Crump, according to a statement from the law firm.Crump previously represented the family of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African-American fatally shot in Florida in 2012. 1852

And the title of the next Avengers film is...Endgame.Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the fourth — and possibly final — Avengers film on Friday, confirming suspicions that the movie would be called "End Game."The trailer offers few hints to the fate of a number of superheroes following the ending of Avengers: Infinity War, but offers a glimpse of heroes Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, Nebula, Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. The end of the trailer introduces Hank Pym, aka Ant-Man into the new film's storyline, after he was absent from Infinity War.The message tweeted alongside the video? "Part of the journey is the end." — a line uttered by Stark during the trailer. The trailer does not give a release date for the film, but it confirmed the movie would be released in April. There is at least one more Marvel movie set to release ahead of Avengers, which could offer more insight into the new Avenger's plot — Captain Marvel, which will hit theaters on March 8.Watch the full trailer in the player below.  Alex Hider is a writer for the E.W. American soybean farmers are still waiting to see the benefit of President Donald Trump's trade truce with China. The President said Tuesday that China is "back in the market" to buy American soybeans -- but farmers said that was the first they had heard of any change since July, when China retaliated against new American tariffs by blocking imports of US agricultural products."I've heard rumors that they're going to buy our beans and put them in reserve, but I don't see ships sitting in our ports to haul them to China yet," said John Heisdorffer, an Iowa soybean grower and chairman of the American Soybean Association, on Wednesday."I hate to say it this way, but everything so far has been talk. The reality is, you want to see something before you actually feel good about it," he added.Another Iowa soybean grower, Dustin Sage, also told CNN Wednesday that he hadn't "heard anything concrete yet" about new orders from China.Soybean farmers have been hit hard by the US-China trade dispute. Exports to China, which was the biggest market for American farmers last year, slowed dramatically after July when Beijing imposed tariffs on US products in retaliation to Trump's duties on Chinese goods.Trump told Reuters in an interview late Tuesday that China was beginning to buy soybeans immediately."I just heard today that they're buying tremendous amounts of soybeans. They are starting, just starting now," he said an interview. The newswire reported that Chinese state-owned companies bought at least 0 million of soybeans on Wednesday.Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to a temporary truce?on December 1 after meeting at the G20 summit in Argentina. At the time, Trump said Beijing committed to increasing purchases of agricultural products, but offered few details about how much they would buy or when.Farmers, who don't sell soybeans overseas directly, may not be the first to know about new orders from abroad. The US Soybean Export Council, which represents shippers and merchandisers, could not immediately be reached on Wednesday.Government data due to be published Thursday could show whether soybeans shipments to China increased during the week after Trump and Xi's meeting. The Farm Bureau has estimated that soybean exports to China are down 97% this year. Prices for a bushel of soybeans fell by after the tariffs went into place. The Trump administration has offered an emergency aid package to farmers hurt by tariffs. In September, about .6 billion was allocated for soybean farmers specifically. But the American Soybean Association said it would only "partially offset" the losses farmers will see this year.At the time, the USDA said it could release a second round of aid before the end of the year, but farmers are still waiting to hear if it will come through.Farmers are worried that some of the trade lost to China will never come back, because buyers will have already found new producers in other countries."Every little bit helps this year. But in the long term, we would rather have trade and an open market," Sage said. 3130
