Many were moved to concentration camps, ghettos and detention sites.A new survey found that Americans are beginning to lack basic knowledge about the Holocaust.The survey found that nearly half of all Americans — 41 percent — couldn't identify Auschwitz, a concentration camp where an estimated 1.1 million Jews and minorities were killed at the hands of Nazis during World War II. For the first time, ever, an animated series on the Disney Channel features a main character that is bisexual.The series "The Owl House" follows Luz Noceda on her adventures to a magical world as she becomes a witch.After a few episodes aired, the showed debuted in late 2020, series creator Dana Terrace took to Twitter to confirm that Luz is bisexual.Terrace explained that at first, she got some pushback from "certain Disney leadership" about the main character. 474

(AP) -- Police in Flagstaff say a group of teens killed a 23-year-old man after he allegedly inappropriately touched one of the girls involved in the killing.Flagstaff police said on Friday that Jaron James was found dead on Sept. 7 and that four teens, including two who are underage, have been arrested.Police say James was killed at a motel and that the suspects knew him. They say the group attacked James after he touched one of the suspects, a 16-year-old girl from Flagstaff.Eighteen-year-old Lawrence Sampson-Kahn and 19-year-old Kayson Russell are among the four arrested.
