INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly is pausing its trial of antibody treatment for coronavirus “out of an abundance of caution.”It’s unclear exactly what happened to prompt the company to pause its trial.“Safety is of the utmost importance to Lilly,” a statement from Eli Lilly reads. “We are aware that, out of an abundance of caution, the ACTIV-3 independent data safety monitoring board (DSMB) has recommended a pause in enrollment.”The trial, according to CNN, is a combination of two lab-engineered immune system proteins called monoclonal antibodies. It would be used to treat severely ill patients who have coronavirus.CNN said it is similar to the treatment made by Regeneron that was given to President Trump earlier this month. This story was first reported by Matt McKinney at WRTV in Indianapolis, Indiana. 839

Investigators for special counsel Robert Mueller have recently been asking witnesses about Donald Trump's business activities in Russia prior to the 2016 presidential campaign as he considered a run for president, according to three people familiar with the matter.Questions to some witnesses during wide-ranging interviews included the timing of Trump's decision to seek the presidency, potentially compromising information the Russians may have had about him, and why efforts to brand a Trump Tower in Moscow fell through, two sources said. The lines of inquiry indicate Mueller's team is reaching beyond the campaign to explore how the Russians might have sought to influence Trump at a time when he was discussing deals in Moscow and contemplating a presidential run.Mueller was appointed to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign. The President claims that any investigation of his family's finances would be a breach of the special counsel's mandate. Two of the sources said they do not know from the questions asked whether Mueller has concrete evidence to indicate wrongdoing."You ask everything even if you don't think it's credible," one of the sources said, adding, "the allegations are out there, and it was checking the box."The special counsel's office, an attorney for the President and the Trump Organization all declined to comment for this story.Questions about Trump's entry into the campaign 1428

It's the day that many Las Vegas oddsmakers have been waiting for.On May 14, the United States Supreme Court overturned a decades-long prohibition of sports betting.Until Monday, there was only a handful of states that were allowed to accept sports bets and Nevada and its sportsbook was the mecca for sports gamblers. But even with the possibility of new sportsbooks, Las Vegas bookies are saying "bring it on.""Personally, I am very happy. I've been waiting for this day for 35 years," said Jimmy Viccaro at the South Point sportsbook.RELATED: Supreme Court opens door for legalized sports bettingThe Supreme Court's decision means that Nevada sportsbook can expand across state lines and create more Las Vegas-style sportsbooks."The real winners here are the customers and sports fans in the state governments," said Joe Asher, CEO of Las Vegas-based William Hill.Asher said their stock jumped after the announcement. So did the stock for Caesars and others.William Hill has already built a sportsbook in New Jersey, just waiting for this new era in sports betting. For years, Asher said sports betting has been happening in back rooms and under the table outside of Nevada.RELATED: Where can I legally?bet on sports? Now, the sports betting black market is facing regulation and taxation.Several major league sports are also chiming in on the decision. The NCAA, NFL and NBA are all in favor of federal regulation. Some are expressing concern about the impact of betting on the games. There's still a long way to go and it's up to each state to decide if they want to legalize sports betting or now.It is also not known how it will impact jobs and money yet in Nevada.  1702

ISTANBUL, Turney — According to two sources, the Saudis are preparing a report that will acknowledge that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's death was the result of an interrogation that went wrong, one that was intended to lead to his abduction from Turkey. One source says the report will likely conclude that the operation was carried out without clearance and transparency and that those involved will be held responsible. One of the sources acknowledged that the report is still being prepared and cautioned that things could change. The Washington Post columnist was last seen in public when he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in Turkey on October 2. Previously, Saudi authorities had maintained Khashoggi left the consulate the same afternoon of his visit, but provided no evidence to support the claim. Khashoggi's fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, who was waiting outside the consulate, says she did not see him re-emerge. 934
