Citigroup has terminated a manager following an investigation into his role operating a prominent website dedicated to QAnon conspiracy theory, according to Bloomberg.Jason Gelinas was placed on paid leave in mid-September after he was identified by Logically.ai as the operator of QMap.pub and it’s affiliated apps.“Mr. Gelinas is no longer employed by Citi,” the company said in a statement to Bloomberg. “Our code of conduct includes specific policies that employees are required to adhere to, and when breaches are identified, the firm takes action.”Gelinas was a manager in Citigroup;s technology department. The company says employees have to disclose outside business activity where they receive compensation.Gelinas was reportedly earning about ,000 a month from a crowdfunding site supporting the QAnon site he ran. He says the money helped cover the monthly operating costs.QMap once drew a reported 10 million visitors a month over the summer. (AP) — A gunman opened fire inside a Southern California Costco during an argument Friday night, killing a man, wounding two other people and sparking a stampede of terrified shoppers before he was taken into custody, police said.Police swarmed the Costco after shots were reported at the huge store about 50 miles (80.5 kilometers) southeast of downtown Los Angeles.Witnesses told KCAL-TV that a man with a Mohawk haircut was arguing with someone near a freezer section when he pulled a gun and fired at least six shots.The man involved in the argument was killed and two other people were wounded, Corona police Lt. Jeff Edwards said. In a release issued after 1 a.m. Saturday, Corona police said their conditions were unknown.The suspected gunman was apprehended, said he was injured and was taken to the hospital, Edwards said.No identities were immediately released. One of those hospitalized was an off-duty officer from another agency. COLUSA COUNTY, Calif. (KGTV) -- California Highway Patrol is investigating after someone reportedly shot at a Pacific Gas and Electric worker Wednesday. According to CHP, the worker was traveling in a parked PG&E pick-up truck on I-5 south of Lenahan Road in Colusa County when the passenger side window shattered. At the time, the driver was unsure why the window shattered, but an investigation by CHP determined that a bullet hit the truck. CHP says another vehicle was traveling near the PG&E truck at the time of the incident, but details on the vehicle or driver are unclear at this time. The PG&E worker was uninjured. 646

CLEVELAND — Have you ever heard of an emotional support animal being a squirrel?A passenger boarding a Frontier Airlines flight in Orlando headed to Cleveland got on the plane with one Tuesday night.A Frontier Airlines official said the passenger did note in their reservation that they were bringing an emotional support animal but did not indicate that it was a squirrel.Frontier Airlines does not allow rodents on flights.When they told the passenger of the policy and asked her to deplane, she refused and Orlando police were called. Many passengers WEWS spoke to didn't seem annoyed or angry but rather amused."The joke of the plane was hashtag squirrel so you’ll probably see it all over social media," said passenger Amber Calhoun.She was eventually escorted off the plane, allowing the plane to depart. A spokesperson for Frontier Airlines said the woman's ticket did indicate she had an emotional support animal but never specified the type of animal.The whole fiasco delayed the flight for almost two hours.  1046
