Forget the shirt and shoes; no service for people on horseback at Starbucks in Anthem, Arizona. A Valley girl is frustrated after trying to ride her horse through the drive-thru when the barista said nay. Aspen Cline had seen internet videos of others riding their horses through the Starbucks drive-thru and decided that's what she wanted to do for her birthday. Instead, she and her horse, Scout, were shut down by the barista who apparently wasn't into horsing around. "We weren't given a reason, just, "we can't take your order," said Aspen. "My friend and I were going to get frappuccinos for us and a cup of whipped cream for the horses." A Starbucks spokesperson told us, officially, their drive-through is for cars only. He said that policy is for animal, rider and employee safety. But, he also added that the horses caught the barista off guard and with a little-advanced notice next time they'll find a way to serve all creatures."We support Starbucks because they're very accepting," said Tandy Cline, Aspen's mom. FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A Lehigh Acres, Florida man is facing two counts of child neglect after police say he left two young children alone in a vehicle while he went into a strip club.23-year-old Willie Lee Jordan, Jr. was arrested Thursday night outside of Scarlett's Cabaret in Fort Myers.According to Fort Myers Police, the children were found crying in the back seat of an SUV by a citizen around 11 p.m.  Police were called to the scene, and arrived to find the citizen, two security personnel, and the children outside the vehicle.The SUV 's windows were open about two inches while the children were alone inside.  The good Samaritans were able to instruct the older child to unlock the doors to get out.Staff inside the club made an announcement in an effort to locate the caretaker of the children. That's when Jordan exited the club and was greeted by police.Jordan told officers that he was only inside for one minute, but police had already been on scene for several minutes by that point.Club staff told police Jordan had been at the club earlier that evening but was turned away for a dress code violation. He later returned properly dressed, and was inside the club for about 20 minutes without checking on the children.Jordan was arrested and released Friday on ,000 bond. 1321

A record 66 percent of respondents in this year's Gallup poll say they support legalizing cannabis, up from 64 percent last year."I think a lot of consumers are coming out of the shadows, and they just feel more comfortable talking about cannabis, learning about cannabis,” says Trey Fisher.Fisher, with Medicine Man dispensary in Denver, Colorado, says particularly of note in 2018, is the emerging client base of women and the elderly. "The elderly, they're just looking for relief,” explains Fisher. “They're just looking for a product that works, and they don't care about the social stigma anymore."Individual dispensaries are certainly seeing growth, but industry insiders say the pot business as a whole is still being held back."It’s still completely illegal under federal law, and that's sort of putting a damper on the whole industry,” says Raza Lawrence, a cannabis law attorney.Lawrence specializes in helping entrepreneurs obtain cannabis licenses.
