AT&T is launching a new internet-delivered TV service Monday as it struggles with a shrinking DirecTV satellite business.The new service, AT&T TV, will have most of the same channels offered on DirecTV, but it’ll come over the internet rather than a satellite dish. BROOKFIELD, Ill. – A Chicago-area zoo is mourning the death of a 14-year-old lioness that died less than two weeks after her mate was euthanized due to age-related issues. The Chicago Zoological Society says the female African lion, named Isis, was found lying on the floor of a moat in her Brookfield Zoo habitat on Monday. Officials say it appears that Isis somehow fell. Despite immediate and intensive treatment provided by veterinary staff, the lioness suffered significant injuries and the difficult decision was made to euthanize her on Tuesday.“The safety and well-being of the animals in our care is our utmost priority,” said Bill Zeigler, senior vice president of animal programs. “Although it is unclear what caused her fall, we are reviewing all aspects of this tragic occurrence.”Both Isis and her mate, Zenda, arrived at the zoo in May 2008. They often were seen grooming each other and sleeping together, officials say. “Isis and her mate were majestic animals who had a strong bond. A school in Washington, D.C. called The Lab is already training dancers in breakdancing to prepare them for Team USA.Competitive break dancer Evan Sletten has been a taking classes at The Lab for six years.“A lot of upper body strength goes into it,” Sletten describes of the sport.Sletten says he would describe it as an athletic dance. “Competitive breaking is very different in the sense that there’s rules,” explains The Lab owner Antonio Castillo. “There’s a point system. You have a referee. You have different criteria in place to make sure it’s a fair sport.”Castillo has considered breakdancing a sport for a long time, and he already uses an Olympic scoring model for his students.“We use a 10-point system and all of criteria is the definition of what the dance is, so you can’t argue against it because those are the elements that make up the dance,” Castillo says.Sletten says the point system helps with improvement.“It’s great because if you need to improve, you’re not just seeing win or lose,” he explains. “You’re seeing each category, every little thing that you did right that you did wrong.”In a way, this group of competitive break dancers has been gearing up for the gold for years already. So, if the sport gets to take the Olympic stage in 2024, they’ll be ready. “You’re going to have the first time in history that you’ll have a b-boy or b-girl be the Michael Phelps of breaking, and to me that’s the greatest thing ever!” says Castillo. 1650

BRIDGETON, N.J. – Authorities have released a sketch of a man they want to speak with in the case of a 5-year-old girl who went missing from a New Jersey park. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office says the girl, Dulce Maria Alavez, disappeared from the Bridgeton City Park Recreational Area at about 5 p.m. on Sept. 16. The sketch that prosecutors released Tuesday is of a person who has been reported to have been seen in the park around the time Dulce went missing. A witness who recently came forward says the person was with one or two children under the age of 5 years old. The person was reported to have been wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball style hat at the time. The man is reported to be Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slender build, and between 30 and 35 years old. Prosecutors want to clarify that the sketch is not from the child witness who gave authorities an initial description which led to an Amber Alert on Sept. 17. “We are asking this person (or anyone who may recognize him) to come forward as investigators wish to speak with him as it is believed that he may have information that is helpful in determining the circumstances that led to Dulce’s disappearance,” prosecutors wrote.Anyone who can identify this individual or who has information about the case is asked to contact Bridgeton Police Department at 856-451-0033.
