An employee at an Arizona pizza restaurant may lose his eye after being attacked by a woman with a stiletto. Scottsdale Police report that on Fbe. 19 they were called to Gus' Pizza.Witnesses reportedly told police that 32-year-old Kris May Loring fell out of her chair and onto the floor. She left the restaurant thinking other customers were laughing at her. Police say a few minutes later her boyfriend entered the business, yelled at the customers and allegedly threw pizza at them. While Aaron Walter, a security guard for Gus' Pizza Lounge, attempted to detain the man, police say Loring, "took off her stilettos and charged at the victim." She delivered, "deliberate and violent blows towards the victim's head." “I was kind of holding the back of her boyfriend’s neck, just kind of holding him down while he’s blowing off some steam, and next thing you know, I was hit in the eye,” said Walter. Police say one of the stilettos struck Walter in the eye causing a severe laceration. Walter was hospitalized for several days, and his vision has returned since the attack. “I'm glad it was a stiletto.. I'm glad it wasn’t a knife or a gun,” said Walter. Upon her arrest, Loring allegedly threatened to "bite the nose off the arresting officer." She is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault.Despite what happened, Walter says he holds no ill will towards Loring.“I want her to have a wonderful life, I want her kids to prosper, I want her husband to prosper, and I want everyone to just live."  1579

An overnight desk employee working at the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colo. won’t have any ghost sighting stories to tell family and friends – they’ll have something much better.That’s because that employee came face-to-face with a black bear while working the graveyard shift Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.Video obtained by Scripps affiliate in Denver KMGH-TV shows the unwanted guest wandering around the lobby of the Stanley Hotel, as if to make sure things at the hotel were running according to plan. ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Late U.S. Senator John McCain will be laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis.A private memorial service will first be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel. A private burial will then follow.Leading up to his burial, McCain's body will depart his home state of Arizona on Thursday, headed for Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where he will be received with ceremony by Armed Forces Body Bearers.On Friday McCain will lie in state at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. Following an 11 a.m. formal ceremony inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, the public will be permitted to pay their respects. As bottles of hand sanitizers and stacks of disinfectant wipes continue to fly off the shelves amid the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. government issued a stamp of approval for another household cleaning product.The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave Pine-Sol Original Multi-Surface Cleaner the approval "for kill claims against SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, on hard non-porous surfaces," according to a press release.To prevent the spread of COVID-19, those looking to use Pine-Sol is encouraged to apply the Pine-Sol multi-surface cleaner with a clean sponge or cloth on hard, nonporous surfaces. Once the surface is wet, let it stand for 10 minutes and then rinse, the press release says.In March, the EPA released a list of household products that kill the coronavirus.
