(KGTV) -- Police in National City are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect accused of killing a 26-year-old man near a National City 7-Eleven.Police say Onan Loaiza was shot and killed on the 800 block of Eta Street around 11 a.m. on March 27.Police say one suspect, Robert Allen Garduno, 27, was arrested for the murder, but another suspect is still on the loose.RELATED: Deadly shooting near 7-Eleven in National City may have been sparked by fight, police say?According to detectives, Loaiza was walking home after reportedly getting into a fight at the Mex Mart when a vehicle pulled up next to him.Authorities say a man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and shot and killed Loaiza.Anyone with information is asked to call the National City Police Department at 619-336-4411 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.Crime Stoppers is offering up to a ,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.RELATED: Man dies after shooting near National City 7-Eleven The shooting was the first of two to happen near the same location. On April 8, police were called to the same area after they say another man was shot and killed on the 100 block of North Highland Avenue.Police haven't named the victim or suspect in that homicide.  1299

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Six Metro Nashville police officers have been commended for their heroic response early Christmas morning when an RV exploded. The officers responded to the call of gunfire and upon hearing an RV play a recorded message saying the vehicle contained a bomb, took several measures to evacuate as many people as possible from Second Avenue.City leaders applauded the officers for their swift action, putting the lives of others ahead of their own. "They immediately began knocking on doors, not knowing when the bomb would go off," Chief John Drake said at a press conference Saturday night. "They didn't think of themselves...they thought of the citizens of Nashville. Officer Luellen arrived at the scene first. He said after five minutes, they heard a timer counting down from the RV. Officers noticed the shades were down on the vehicle but did not notice a tag. He said he didn't immediately notice the RV, but thought it may have been someone visiting town for Christmas. The officers contacted six to seven apartments and asked residents to evacuate.After some time, music began to play from the RV. Once the song finished, the announcement of a bomb continued. Officer Luellen said once the announcement resumed, he saw a man walking a dog. The man was notified of the warning and shortly after the RV exploded. Luellen said he was knocked over and the man was in shock.The second officer who responded to the scene was Brenna Hosey. She said when she heard the announcement coming from the RV she was confused. "Is this really what we're hearing right now," Hosey recalled thinking. She then began clearing apartments on Second Avenue floor-by-floor. They began these evacuation efforts as the RV announced there would be 14 minutes until detonation. Officer James Wells suffered hearing loss from the blast. Wells said once he heard Luellen call over the radio for an immediate response, he knew by the tone of his voice it was serious. Officer Topping said as she was getting to the area of Second Avenue and Commerce Street she began to hear the message playing from the RV. "That's a sound I'll never forget," she said. Sgt. Movie theaters are at risk and some predictions show up to 60% could close, according to the CEO of Studio Movie Grill, Brian Schultz.The big chains are facing obstacles like limited capacity, a lack of new movies, and a slow return by audiences.“The majority of our attendance is these private events we're doing where we rent out an auditorium for 0,” said Schultz.Schultz says revenue is around 20% of what it was last year.The theater chain has new sanitary procedures, increased air flow circulation, added filters, and a system to keep families together but socially distant.“Part of what makes going to a movie theater great is people laughing together, people crying together, reacting and being surprised,” said Schultz.Amy Southgate and her husband started hosting movie night in their driveway at the start of the pandemic. They recently moved it to a private theater.“We have a couple elderly neighbors and like to kind of check in on them and keep them involved since some of their regular activities were canceled during COVID, so it was just a good way to get all our neighbors and friends involved,” said Southgate.Theaters are renting out space where you can watch pretty much any movie, including the classics.“With the current pandemic situation, there isn’t a whole lot for folks to get excited about and look forward to, so this is something we can put on our calendars and get excited to come and do safely,” said Southgate.Theaters allowed private events before the pandemic. Although his numbers were randomly chosen, Diaz said he had a good feeling when he saw two of his numbers were 3 and 16, relating it to the Bible verse "John 3:16."His numbers 3, 9, 23, 27, 35 and Mega number 16 ended up being the perfect pick, netting him the million jackpot.The 7-Eleven will also receive 0,000 for selling the winning ticket, the state lottery says.Although Diaz told the lottery he doesn't have plans for the money yet, he and his wife want to buy a house, donate to their church and charities, and start college funds for their children.
