Students who survived the school shooting in Florida are using their voices to try and spur change. It’s young voices, that haven’t heard before who are speaking up.Seven seniors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — Jack Haimowitz, Ronnie Froetschel, Vincent Frettoloso, Matthew Horowitz, Cole Sumner, Cain DeLima and Joey Mondelli — say they hope the tragedy spurs change.“The day that changed everything,” Mondelli said, when asked how he wants people to remember the day of the shooting.“I don’t want them to look at it as a statistic,” Somner said. “I want people to see this as the last one. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Before the potentially catastrophic storm made landfall in the Florida Panhandle, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee took a moment to gather and pray ahead of Hurricane Michael.The department posted photos and video of deputies meeting on Tuesday ahead of the storm.Michael quickly grew from a Category 1 to Category 4 storm in just a few days, packing 155 mph winds as it made landfall near Mexico Beach, Fla. at about 1:45 p.m.The sheriff's office asked "If you don't mind, say a prayer for all of the men and women working to keep our community safe."The department's Facebook post received almost 6,000 shares in about 18 hours. 678

Surveillance video captured a woman red-handed, with her hand in a donation box at a 7 - Eleven in Melvindale, Michigan.However, she wasn’t putting in her two cents.  The images have some people outraged and giving the lady a piece of their minds. The video shows the woman standing at the counter. It appears when the coast was clear, she made her move.According to the video, she grabbed the donation box meant for the Dearborn Animal Shelter and people with Friends For Animals of Metro Detroit.The staff and volunteers help cats and dogs every step of the way.
