Let's make one thing clear - the Cavaliers are not for sale. But if they were, LeBron James says he would "obviously" be interested in potentially buying the team."To be an owner of any team would be crazy," James told The Athletic's Jason Lloyd. "If this thing opened up and I'm in a position financially, and I've got the right team around me, obviously. But who's to say Dan will [sell]? I've always kept it just player/owner at this point. I guess once I come down to that point, if the conversation needed to be had, I'll have it. But I don't have it right now."This lines up with another interview James had with Lloyd back in May when he said, "I will own a team someday. That's my next thing."James said owning a team would "be cool," because it would allow him to "stay part of the game and still be able to put people in positions of power."According to a Forbes report in February, the Cleveland Cavaliers are valued at .2 billion. Owner Dan Gilbert paid 5 million for the team in 2005.According to another Forbes report, James?( million) is the world's second-highest paid athlete this year behind Real Madrid forward Christiano Ronaldo ( million). 1198

LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore asked the National Guard to support local law enforcement officers in keeping looters and rioters from destroying properties amid demonstrations against police brutality and racism. The City of La Mesa posted a message saying a portion of the guard would respond to the city Wednesday night. The new rules and assistance of the National Guard were requested in La Mesa after what started out as peaceful demonstrations turned violent Saturday night when several banks and vehicles were set on fire, and numerous businesses were ransacked. In a post on Twitter late Wednesday, the San Diego County Sheriff's Office announced that 200 members of the California Army National Guard are in the county following a request from Gore. "They will work alongside law enforcement providing security to critical infrastructures (public buildings, courthouses, power grids, etc.) during the protests to prevent looting & arson," the sheriff's office said. "This mutual aide will help keep our communities safe while protecting everyone's right to protest."One hundred National Guard members were deployed to La Mesa, with the other 100 assigned to other parts of the county. The news comes as cities throughout the county enforce a days-long curfew. Wednesday night, the City of La Mesa is under a curfew from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. According to the city, the rule will be in effect through June 8. LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada’s new vote-by-mail law includes provisions allowing anyone to collect and return ballots on a voter’s behalf, a practice critics deride as “ballot harvesting” and that President Donald Trump and Republicans are targeting amid a broader fight over voting during the pandemic. The practice is expressly allowed in more than half of states and used by political groups and campaigns to boost turnout and ensure voters who are older, homebound, or live far from U.S. postal services get their mail-in ballots counted. Trump and the GOP contend “ballot harvesting” opens the door for fraud and have fought to restrict it in states. 658

Leasing, rather than buying a car, isn’t for everyone. But it’s the smart choice if you’re thinking about getting an electric car.Leasing is growing in popularity — now making up almost 30% of all new car sales. But when it comes to electric vehicles, 80% are leased, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. (This excludes cars made by Tesla, which sells directly to consumers and doesn’t report lease data.)For these ever-evolving vehicles, leasing is an especially well-suited way to finance one. Here are five reasons experts say leasing your EV is the best way to roll.1. You can get tech upgrades faster 639
