President Donald Trump lashed out at former CIA Director John Brennan on Saturday, claiming he made mistakes during his time at the CIA and calling him a "loudmouth, partisan, political hack.""Has anyone looked at the mistakes that John Brennan made while serving as CIA director? He will go down as easily the WORST in history & since getting out, he has become nothing less than a loudmouth, partisan, political hack who cannot be trusted with the secrets to our country!" Trump wrote on Twitter.Trump did not say what the claimed mistakes were. The White House announced on Wednesday that Trump would revoke Brennan's security clearance. In a statement, Trump said Brennan "has recently leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official with access to highly sensitive information to make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations -- wild outbursts on the internet and television -- about this Administration." The statement added that the "recent conduct characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation's most closely held secrets." 1111

POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) — North County residents forced to use bottled water following a boil water advisory will have to wait a little longer to return to the tap.The City of Poway issued a boil water advisory on Saturday after learning that a recent storm may have compromised the potable drinking water system. Tuesday, the city said two tests showed water meets industry standards and was absent of bacteria. Though the tests are positive, the city says they will continue the advisory per state protocols. Officials were not able to offer a timeline as to when the advisory would be lifted. Poway had said the order could last up to five days.RELATED: Poway school district sends parents action plan after water boil advisory issuedUntil the advisory ends, residents should use bottled water or boil tap water for drinking or cooking. Officials say water should be boiled for a minute and that it's still safe to shower. As the boil order continued Tuesday, many local small business owners are growing more concerned. At Poway's Round Table Pizza, employees were able to operate on a limited menu and modified permit thanks to help from a neighboring location in Rancho Bernardo. They were one of the few local restaurants able to stay open. But across town, Pacific Pizza owner John Crosser says he's lost thousands after having to throw out dough used with water before the order was issued Saturday."Trying to get things rolling, get cash flow rolling and stuff, and then when you lose two or three days of sales and then everybody still expects all their bills have to be paid, rent has to be paid ... if it continues it could be catastrophic, it really could," Crosser said.Crosser says he's sanitized everything and is ready to reopen, but is still waiting for the green light from the city.Bottled water will continue to be distributed at Lake Poway and City Hall from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Anyone who needs assistance can contact Public Works at 858-668-4700.Click here for more information from the City of Poway on the advisory. 2048

President Donald Trump might not be greeted with a warm welcome home when he and his family move from the White House to Mar-a-Lago once the soon-to-be-former president leaves office in January.According to The New York Times and The Seattle Times, a lawyer for the DeMoss family, who owns property next door to the resort, sent a letter Tuesday to the Town of Palm Beach and the U.S. Secret Service. The letter stated that Trump couldn't live at Mar-a-Lago because of an agreement he signed in 1993 when he converted the private residence into a private club, the Times reported. The Times reported that the letter pointed out that no one, including Trump, may reside there.Per the agreement, no one, including Trump, is allowed to spend more than seven days in a row at the resort, for no more than three weeks total a year, the Palm Beach Post reported.According to the Post, when Trump converted the residence into the club in 1993, his lawyer assured the council that Trump would no longer live at the club. 1018

POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) — Poway developer Kevin McNamara is hoping to convince residents to support a new plan to add 160 homes to the property which was formerly the Stoneridge Country Club. The golf course was closed after a previous development plan was defeated by voters in 2017.McNamara calls his development "The Farms at Stoneridge." It has an agricultural theme, including hiking trails, parks, community gardens, a butterfly farm, and an amphitheater for public performances. The property is owned by real estate mogul Michael Schlesinger. His 2017 campaign to replace a portion of the golf course with condos was rejected by Poway voters. Schlesinger shut down the course the next morning.McNamara tells 10News he has negotiated an option to buy the land from Schlesinger, dependent on his ability to get city and voter approval on the new plan. He says it is important for a local developer to take over the property. "I've been involved in almost everything that's gone on in this city for 20-plus years. I like to think I can be trusted," McNamara said. Some residents have held out hope the City of Poway would take over the land to re-open the golf course. However, McNamara says the city has no interest, as projections suggest an annual 0,000 loss. Other residents want the land to remain undeveloped open space, but McNamara says the fire department would consider that to be a fire hazard."It's a hard choice for a lot of people and I understand that. But I'm their best option. I'm the best option they're ever going to have," he said.McNamara is hosting a public forum Wednesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Painted Rock Elementary. He will submit his final plan to the city by the end of December. McNamara anticipates that 2019 will be spent working on the environmental impact study, followed by a city council vote in the spring of 2020. The ultimate goal is to let voters decide on the 2020 ballot. 1939
