SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police were involved in a chase that led to a standoff in Valencia Park Wednesday night.Video from Sky10 showed police chasing the suspect through residential streets. The chase began after police spotted the woman, who is wanted for burglaries and identity thefts throughout San Diego County, driving on the 805.The woman refused to stop and led both Harbor Police and San Diego Police on a slow-speed chase. Police then used spike strips that appeared to flatten one of the vehicle’s tires.The driver stopped a short distance after the spikes were used. Police could then be seen taking a police K9 out of one of the vehicles.The woman refused to get out of her car after police threatened to send in the K9 unit. The suspect sat in her car until officers approached the vehicle, broke the drivers side window, and pulled her out of the car.In video captured from the scene, the woman could then be seen being taken into custody.Live video captured by Sky10 shows the whole incident. Watch the video in the player below:  1066

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - NFL quarterback Drew Brees and his wife say a San Diego jeweler with lying and falsely represented the value of the jewelry sold to them.Vahid Moradi, founder of CJ Charles Jewelers in La Jolla, is accused of making friends with the Brees and then using his "relationship and position to induce" Brees to rely "on his false representations as to the investment quality and market value" of numerous diamonds, a lawsuit filed in San Diego said.In the lawsuit, Brees says he has spent multimillions of dollars in business with Moradi, purchasing jewelry as gifts and as investments.READ the lawsuit here."In total, [the Brees] invested approximately million in investment quality diamonds recommended by Moradi," the suit states. "The independent appraiser determined the true market value of the diamonds ... was approximately million less than the prices the [Brees] paid."Brees also alleges that Moradi "confessed he charged Plaintiffs a substantial markup," in one case charging a 550 percent markup, the suit alleges. Brees also argues that Moradi went so far as to conceal the true quality of the diamonds using "reflective and painted settings." Moradi has fought back against the allegation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a Serra Mesa stabbing that left two people in critical condition Saturday night.Officers responded around 7:51 p.m. to a call of a brawl outside of a house party on the 8400 block of Neva Avenue, police said. At least two people were located with stab wounds to the torso.A resident told 10News described hearing people fighting outside his home. He tried to intervene but the suspect disappeared.“I rushed out to see if I could stop them from doing anything and by the time I think they already left the scene," said Turk Sapta.The unidentified victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.No description of the suspect or suspects was given at this time.Stay with 10News for updates to this developing story. 813

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Nearly two dozen children were hurt over the weekend after a platform collapsed at a San Diego indoor parkour gym.One of the people hurt said her 10-year-old son was one of her rescuers.It was kid’s night out, so most parents dropped their kids off.
