A hacker who claims to have gotten access to President Donald Trump’s personal Twitter account by guessing his password will not face charges, according to reports, because the man acted “ethically” following getting access.Dutch prosecutors say Victor Gevers did get access to the @realDonaldTrump Twitter account by guessing “MAGA2020!” as the password in late October of this year, saying that Gevers shared screenshots from inside the account, according to the BBC.At the time, the White House and Twitter denied it had been hacked.Gevers, a cyber-security researcher, said he was doing a semi-regular sweep of Twitter accounts associated with the U.S. election when he correctly guessed Trump’s password.Investigators in the Netherlands said Gevers was investigating the strength of the password based on “major interests involved if this Twitter account could be taken over so shortly before the presidential election.”“We believe the hacker has actually penetrated Trump’s Twitter account, but has met the criteria that have been developed in case law to go free as an ethical hacker,” reads a statement from the public prosecutor’s office, the Guardian reported.Investigators say Gevers met the standard for “responsible disclosure.”He has publicly shared how he guessed the password, and tweeted October 22, following the alleged hack, a warning possibly aimed at the president urging people to use two-factor authentication. A Dearborn Heights police officer is the focus of a viral video, which appears to show him sleeping behind the wheel of his cruiser.Dearborn Heights Chief of Police Lee Gavin has confirmed that an internal investigation will take place. Sources confirm the video was shot by a citizen last Wednesday. They also say it’s not the first time the officer has been spotted snoozing.Citizens have said they are disappointed and stunned to see the video. Some are also concerned about the health and safety of the officer. “It’s bad. Without knowing all the details, yes it’s dangerous,” former Detroit Police Asst. A Lyft driver accused of sexually assaulting a customer on April 24 has been arrested, police say.The woman told police that she had been sexually assaulted in the city of Pontiac, Michigan. At 5 p.m. on April 24, the victim contacted a Lyft driver she had previously used. The driver claimed he was the owner of a health spa and would give her 0 if she let him give her a massage and filled out a survey evaluating the massage afterward.The victim said Hanif also encouraged her to drink from an already opened container of Four Loko, an alcoholic beverage. She arrived at the alleged spa and said she felt as if she was 'buzzed.' At the end of the massage, the victim said Hanif offered her ,000 in exchange for sexual intercourse. The victim refused, at which time she was sexually assaulted by the suspect, police say. After, Hanif reportedly drove the victim back to her residence.Hanif was arrested on April 25 and lodged at the Oakland County Jail after being interviewed by detectives. During the investigation, detectives discovered he was listed as a possible suspect in a different sexual assault incident that occurred in December 2017.“The Detectives assigned to this case worked quickly and methodically in order to give this victim the justice she deserves,” Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard. “We will never tolerate behavior from those who commit sexual violence. I commend this victim for coming forward as she may have brought closure for other victims as well. This is a reminder to review some of the newest safety features included in apps such as Uber and Lyft, which allow you to send your location to friends and family and call for emergency help quickly. A group of Las Vegas shooting survivors is coming together to send a very special gift to Jason Aldean. Their goal is to use the gift to ask Aldean to come back to Las Vegas to finish his concert that was tragically interrupted the night of the mass shooting.Tiffany Thomas created a Facebook group called “58 Survivors 1 Last Set." Survivors of the shooting quickly learned about the group and the online community chatted about their stories of that infamous night.“After it happened, all I could think about was Jason Aldean,” said Thomas. “I kept thinking like he was up there, he was on that stage, he was singing for us.”Through the Facebook group, Tiffany met another survivor named Gina McKin. The women came up with the idea to make a Shutterfly book to send to Aldean.McKin took charge of the book and asked everyone to send their favorite pictures of the night before the shooting rang out.The book ended up being 91 pages long to represent Route 91.In the book, McKin dedicated different pages to victims and survivors. Some people wrote messages to Aldean.The 0 book took months to finalize.The group of women are sending the book to Aldean along with a few other special items.They are using the gift to ask Jason Aldean to come back to Las Vegas and finish his set. A Black man has filed a lawsuit against a gas station in Portland, Oregon claiming he was prohibited from buying gas because of the color of his skin, according to multiple media reports.Dominique DeWeese says he asked the attendant for a gallon of gas in a container back in July. According to the lawsuit, DeWeese says the attendant declined and allegedly implied he did not want to give DeWeese an opportunity to set fires.In Oregon, an attendant is required by law to pump gas, it is not self-service. “He asked if I was a Black Lives protester, rioter, kinda smirked and said ‘I’m not giving you any gas,’” DeWeese told KGW8 about the July incident.Portland has seen countless nights of demonstrations this year. They started in May, following the death of George Floyd at the hands of officers in Minneapolis.After the attendant declined to give DeWeese gas, he got out his cellphone and started recording. During the recording, the attendant tells DeWeese there are fires happening around Portland, “they get a can of gasoline and they start the fire,” the attendant says.“So, are you picking and choosing who to sell gasoline to?” DeWeese is heard asking on the video.
