Six in 10 Republican voters now believe special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation is unfair, a dramatic 15-point swing over the last six weeks amid escalating attacks from President Donald Trump.A broad 61% of GOP voters say Mueller's probe into potential coordination between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election is not being conducted fairly, up from just 46% who said the same in early March, according to a new Quinnipiac University survey released on Thursday.Only one in four GOP voters, 26%, said they believe Mueller is conducting his investigation fairly, dropping from 36% over the same span. Six months ago, Republicans were essentially evenly split on whether the probe was fair.Majorities of both Democrats, 79%, and independents, 58%, say they believe Mueller's probe is fair.The new numbers come about two weeks after investigators with the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, operating on information referred from Mueller's investigation, raided the apartment of Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to seize documents related to alleged payments to silence women accusing the President of sexual affairs.In the past, Trump has lumped the special counsel investigation and the Cohen investigation together and repeatedly complained of a "witch hunt" out to get him.Still, a similar majority of Republican voters, 59%, believe the President should not fire Mueller. Something you can't see with the naked eye could be the keeping an eye on you in your most private moments.Illegally hidden cameras are getting harder to detect each day.At her request, we have concealed the identity of a Central Florida woman who found a hidden camera installed in a fan sitting on a table in her home."Well right now it's making me very paranoid because I feel like there could be more devices," said the woman.  She is sharing her story to warn others.There are already plenty of other warnings out there in our state as well.In October 2017, a couple found a hidden camera in a smoke detector in their Airbnb room in Longboat Key.In March 2016, a mother said she found a hidden camera in a West Kendall restaurant bathroom.The demand for hidden cameras, and help finding them, keep private investigator Jody Stacy busy at his Delray Beach store."You got to think if they're finding one device, how many did they miss? Again, it's getting cheaper, smaller and more effective," said Stacy.Stacy went on to say, "Pretty much anything can hold a hidden camera. A stuffed animal, a clock, something as small as a phone charger. Finding the camera can be a challenge."The woman in Central Florida felt like someone she knew, knew too much about her private life."I feel like he can hear everything I'm talking about and everything I say," said the woman.She hired a private investigator, who found the camera in a fan.For about one hundred bucks, you can use a handheld device to spot hidden camera lenses and radio frequencies.  Stacy said, "Everything has to have a crystal or a lens in it like the smoke detectors or stuff like that so if you went through it... it would reflect and you'd see like a little red light and it would tell you there's a camera in it." 1814

Some first responders worry if current COVID-19 hospitalization numbers do not start falling, the general population looking for care might get turned away.Bed space in intensive care units is not available in several major metropolitan areas around the country, as more COVID-19 patients come in.Last week, 224 ICU beds in the Albuquerque, New Mexico were reported as occupied despite the availability of only 192 within hospitals that reported data to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.According to data from HHS, 1 in 3 Americans is living in an area where hospitals have less than 15 percent of available intensive care beds, and 1 in 10 Americans are in an area with less than 5 percent capacity.“It’s scary,” said Maria Pais, an RN Supervisor at University of New Mexico Health. “We’re scared.”Since March, Pais has been helping the hospital convert areas into ICU chambers so it can handle the influx of patients.“Social distance so we can get through this and so we can have the beds we need in this hospital to care for you and your family,” she said.“It takes a toll on everybody, because daily, as we come into work, we never know what we’re going to be doing,” added Patrick Baker, director of the hospital’s Rapid Response Team.“I don’t envy the providers who have to sit there and make the plans for if and when we have to determine who gets care and who doesn’t,” he said.Baker says surgery units have been converted into ICUs as UNMH has reached a point where emergency rooms are now seeing effects as well.“It’s not just affecting COVID patients,” said Baker. “COVID patients coming in is a big deal, but how would you feel if you had to go to the emergency room because you got in a car accident and you weren’t able to be seen?”And the issue is not just affecting people coming into these hospitals but the men and women tasked with keeping them running.“Staff to take care of the patients in the beds is more likely the limiting resource that we have,” said Barclay Berdan, CEO of Texas Health Resources, which oversees the Dallas-Fort Worth area. According to the newest numbers from the Department of Health and Human Services, 93 percent of ICU beds are occupied in the Dallas region, straining the limited number of nurses, doctors, and pharmacists who tend to them.Berdan says it means the need for more trained staff as well as the possibility of transferring patients to hospitals that might have more room, but might be out of the patient’s network.“Wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, stay out of crowds,” he said.It has led these first responders to repeat what we have heard so many times before in an effort to avoid a situation that is worse than the one we are currently in.“There’s a real possibility that you show up somewhere to get care if you get in that car accident, and they say, 'Sorry, we can’t help you,'” said Baker. 2890

Starbucks is closing an additional 100 stores in the US within the next year because of shifting consumer habits due to COVID-19.With fewer people working in urban centers, the coffee giant is responding by setting up more stores in the suburbs.There's also less customer traffic during the week now but that is offset by more coffee being sold on weekends.Starbucks has become more focused on drive-thru's and carryout, with fewer customers lingering inside because of social distancing.The store closings are in addition to 400 previously announced for the US, and another 200 for Canada.Still, with Starbucks planning 850 new stores at the same time, there will actually be a net gain of 50 new stores next year.No word has been released on where the new stories will be built and which stores are closing. 817
