Ltd. will sell 1.96 billion shares at 4.46 yuan apiece to select investors, it said. After the accident, the company's executives bought a combined 540,000 share in August, a move seen as an attempt to bolster battered stock prices.Analysts say the fundraising would help CSR greatly ease its financial burdens. SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Google on Friday announced to shut down the highly-controversial social networking product Google Buzz, along with several other services in the coming weeks.On the company's official blog, Google announced the death penalty to its code search engine, Buzz, Jaiku which let users send updates to friends, the Google personalized homepage feature iGoogle, and the University Research Program for Google Search.The shut-downs came as part of Google's housecleaning effort announced in early September, in which the company said it will shut down a number of products and merging others into existing products as features."Changing the world takes focus on the future, and honesty about the past. BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's land supply went up 37 percent year-on-year in 2011 amid the government's tightening measure on commercial property market, according to the Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR) on Saturday. Most of the land supply last year went to the country's 10 million government-subsidized affordable housing units that began construction in 2011, according to MLR.In the meantime, land supply for commercial residential housing totaled about 96,700 hectares last year, up only 4 percent from previous year.Planned land supply quota for construction last year were up 16.25 percent year-on-year from 180,000 hectares in 2010.

ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- China on Saturday delivered portion of the first batch of emergency food assistance to Ethiopia.Wei Hongtian, Charge d'Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia, handed over the assistance certificate to Wondirad Mandefro, Ethiopian State Minster of Agriculture, in a ceremony held at the Office of the Ethiopian Disaster Risk Management Food Security Sector (DRMFSS) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.The handover was witnessed by Ahmed Shide, Ethiopian State Minister of Finance and Economic Development, and Qian Zhaogang, Economic Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia as well as officials and diplomats from the two countries.The charge d'affairs said the Chinese government has decided to provide Ethiopia with two batches of gratis emergency food aid valued at some 24 million U.S. dollars, as part of humanitarian assistance to the people affected by drought in the Horn of Africa region, about which the international community is concerned much.Months ago, China pledged to provide humanitarian aid to drought affected people in Ethiopia, Kenya and Djibouti.The 2011 drought in the Horn of Africa region has affected livelihoods of over 12 million people in countries of the region including Ethiopia.In this move, China has delivered large quantities of wheat to Ethiopia, and it is put in the central warehouse in Adama town, 90 km away from Addis Ababa, as the first batch of the 8,139.4 tons of wheat and 715.15 tons of rice donated by the government of China, said Ethiopian State Minister of Agriculture.According to the minister, the Chinese government has pledged around 20,000 tons of emergency food valued at 24 million dollars.Wei said China attaches great importance to the agriculture development and the food security in Africa. He said China has engaged itself in various agricultural cooperations with African countries including Ethiopia, in different channels."In the future, besides food assistance, China's agricultural cooperation with Africa will focus on technology demonstration, personnel training, infrastructure construction, promotion of agricultural production and trade, and experience sharing agriculture development," said the Charge d'Affairs.The rest portion and the other batch of the emergency food assistance pledged by China is expected to come in November and December.Wei assured that the rest batches of emergency food aid would come to Ethiopia on schedule. The Ethiopian state minister said the Chinese government is one of those donors that demonstrated its strong friendship with the Ethiopian government and its people by extending appreciable humanitarian support at critical time."The recent donation of 100, 000 U. HELSINKI, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- A data leak was uncovered in Finland Saturday, in which personal details of around 16,000 people were uploaded onto a file-sharing website, according to Finnish media report on Monday.This act of sabotage is the largest ever of its kind in Finland. The data leak is being looked into by the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation.Anonymous Finland claimed on Monday responsibility for the publication of personal details of thousands of Finns. The group temporarily published a sample of information on 16,000 people as proof of the hack. The hack was motivated by an apparent desire to shame the Finnish government into improving data security.Finnish National Bureau of Investigation has not confirmed the claims that a loose group of hackers known as Anonymous was behind the data leak.The list that was put on the Internet contains the names, full social security numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, street addresses, and email addresses of the victims. Several upper secondary vocational education institutions are on the list, and some civil servants and students of the Police College of Finland are mentioned by name.Finnish police have confirmed that the names of some Finnish Defense Forces staff are on the list. Finnish Defense Forces found out that fewer than 10 of its employees are included, and has informed these people. The military said the leak did not pose a security threat.
