Boeing has developed a software patch and pilot training program to address issues with the Boeing 737 MAX identified in the October Lion Air crash, the Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday.The FAA and other airplane regulators worldwide grounded the 737 MAX a week ago following a crash in Ethiopia. The agency said data and physical evidence shows similarities between the Ethiopian Airlines crash and the Lion Air crash less than six months ago.On Wednesday, the FAA provided an incremental update on its fix to the plane, which it has previously said will be rolled out "no later than April 2019.""The FAA is aware that Boeing is developing a Service Bulletin that would specify the installation of new flight control computer operational program software," the FAA said in an international notice."Boeing has also developed flightcrew training related to this software," it said. "The FAA's ongoing review of this software installation and training is an agency priority, as will be the roll-out of any software, training, or other measures to operators of the 737 MAX."The FAA has previously said the updates will address the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System, known as MCAS. Investigators are probing whether faulty data coming into that system drove the Lion Air plane into a steep dive that the pilots were unable to overcome. A health official was describing the COVID-19 molecule as having little crowns on it that unlocks cells in our bodies. When she got home that day, Rim started drawing and couldn’t stop.“I just wanted to produce something as fast as possible,” Rim said.Her idea was simple: create a children’s book that parents could read to their kids about coronavirus. Drawing from that interview she heard on the radio, Rim decided the book’s main character would be an evil dictator named King Covid. As the book explains, King Covid wears many crowns and sends out his army to attack people.The book is titled King Covid and the Kids Who Cared.Rim wanted her book to not only explain how COVID-19 works, she also wanted it to empower kids to fight back. In the book, kids can be seen using their ‘superpower’ of hand washing to defeat King Covid and his army. The book also explains how fighting back against King Covid’s army can help others the community who might get the virus.“I really wanted to empower kids, encourage kids to care for themselves and others as we wait out this pandemic. My hope is this book will teach them the importance of caring for others, putting others first,” she said.King Covid and the Kids Who Cared is one of the first of its kind tailored toward kids about the coronavirus. In hopes of relieving some of the pressure parents are feeling when it comes to talking to their children about COVID-19, Rim has made the entire book free and available for download. BUFFALO, N.Y. — Hours before a 3-year-old boy was found sleeping alone on a porch in Buffalo, New York, the rental car that his parents were driving was burned and human remains were found inside, police said.The parents of the boy, 24-year-old Nicole Merced Plaud and 31-year-old Miguel Anthony Valentin-Colon, as well as their friend, 29-year-old Dhamyl Mirella Roman-Audiffred, are considered missing persons.Now, Buffalo Police have released video that identifies persons of interest after the burned out vehicle was discovered in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood near where the boy was found. Police were also able to make a connection between the burned-out car and the toddler found. The department released three videos. The first shows an individual with a shirt over their head walking to the location on Tonawanda Street where the car would be burned. The second shows what appears to be the same person, moving quickly away from the scene with another individual and a child. The individual stops to put a shirt back on their head. On the left side of the frame, a flash can be seen that may be the car being ignited in flames. The third video is a slower, enhanced version of the second video. 1219
