I'm basically looking at those symptoms are gone.”But new research from Stanford University is raising questions about using the drug over a long period of time.When patients in the study took an opioid blocker, researchers said their symptoms didn't improve, suggesting ketamine has to activate opioid receptors before treating depression.Researchers say that doesn't mean you shouldn't use ketamine, but instead, that more studies need to be done to fully understand ketamine before it's widely used in the long-term.Nunez says the side effects she's seen have been minimal.“So, what I always tell the patients is, you know, you're not going to get worse,” says Nunez. “You're either going to be in remission, sore or you're simply not going to respond.” 1386

Authorities across four countries are trying to learn who sent dozens of email bomb threats Thursday afternoon, causing anxiety and business disruptions but no reported violence.Threats were reported across the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.Universities, courthouses and newspapers received them. It was unknown if the threats were identical.Local police in dozens of cities and counties got involved. So did the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.Recipients were reported to have received an email saying that there was a hidden bomb that would detonate unless the sender received a bitcoin ransom. BALDWIN PARK, Calif. - Arson officials in Los Angeles are investigating after someone set an official ballot drop box on fire Sunday night in Baldwin Park.The Baldwin Park Police Department said on Facebook that they and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a ballot box on fire outside the Baldwin Park Library just before 8:30 p.m.According to police, ballots recovered from the box were turned over to the Los Angeles County Registrar's Office. 470
