Unemployed in California will receive additional unemployment assistance from the federal government but it still remains unclear when the money will be available.On Saturday, the state’s Employment Development Department (EDD) announced the federal government approved its application for the Lost Wages Assistance program. The money is part of an executive order that President Donald Trump signed earlier this month.Additional funds will be available for a limited period of time, a minimum of three weeks. To qualify for the extra funds, people must receive at least 0 per week in benefits from EDD and certify that they are unemployed or partially unemployed because of the coronavirus pandemic.EDD will also give retroactive pay unemployment benefits dating back to August 1st. 794

Two more members of President Donald Trump’s campaign working on his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma have tested positive for the coronavirus.The president’s campaign put out a statement Monday that said the two staffers, part of the advance team for Saturday’s rally, tested positive before they boarded their flight out of Oklahoma.The two were then quarantined and the campaign began contact tracing protocols. These positive tests follow the news that six other staffers, including two Secret Service agents, tested positive in the hours before Saturday’s rally.The rally was believed to be the largest indoor event in the nation since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in regular contact with Major League Baseball and numerous health and government agencies, including the CDC, and while we have been informed that the immediate health risk in the San Diego region is low at this time, we are proactively taking increased measures to keep our facilities clean and safe, including our Spring Training facility in Peoria, Ariz. Victoria's Secret CEO Jan Singer has resigned amid a sales slump and competition from young companies challenging the brand's grip on the lingerie industry.The Wall Street Journal first reported Singer's departure last week. Victoria's Secret parent company L Brands (LB) made it official during its quarterly earnings release.John Mehas, now the president of Tory Burch, will take over as CEO of Victoria's Secret Lingerie early next year, the company said.Sales at Victoria's Secret stores that have been open for at least a year dropped 6% last quarter. He picked up trash along Grand Avenue for years and was hired by the city to clean up Grape Park in 2017, he would have celebrated his first work anniversary in November.Naylor was also recognized by Mayor Sam Abed for his work.Naylor is not an average city worker. He was hit by a car when he was 7-years-old, while living in Oceanside. "I died for 10 minutes, three times... God told me to do the best that I can and be the best that I can," he said.Since then, he's had trouble speaking and limited mobility on his left side.Friday Dan said he was brought into his boss's office and told he was being fired for wearing his uniform while drinking a beer at Vinz after work a few weeks prior. Patti Thompson, a friend and self appointed advocate for Dan, started asking questions, "I got my questions answered by people within the City, so I checked my facts by people that are credible that work in the City office...
