BEIJING, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- China on Monday announced reciprocal countermeasures against U.S. designation of six more Chinese media as "foreign missions."

"It is hoped that through sharing experience and summarizing rules, seminar participants can discuss ways to advance the cause of global poverty reduction, enhance confidence in fighting poverty, and contribute to the realization of the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," said Xi.

Stressing that the UN must stand firm for justice, Xi said no country has the right to dominate global affairs, control the destiny of others, or keep advantages in development all to itself.

It has seriously tarnished the reputation and image of Chinese media organizations, affected their normal operation in the United States, and disrupted people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries, said the spokesperson, stressing that it has therefore "exposed the hypocrisy of the self-styled advocate of press freedom."

Over the last six years, the company has seen steep growth from a small team of nine to a professional cloud product and service provider with around 400 employees.
