(KGTV) - Neighbors in San Marcos are sounding the alarm on a suspected prowler after his antics were caught on two different doorbell cameras.The first video from a homeowner in the Richland area of San Marcos shows a man cover his face while peering into a stranger’s home and whistle at the dog inside in an attempt to stop it from barking.The second video from the front door of Sam Ilaian’s house captures the man loitering in his driveway before walking up to take the ring camera.“He pulled it off the wall completely,” said Ilaian, “brackets and everything.”The Sheriff’s department has the video now and Ilaian says the neighborhood is a little more vigilant.As for his front door, “I think now I’ll install more cameras there,” said Ilaian.  763

(KGTV) - San Diego Congresswoman Susan Davis authored legislation that she believes would have a positive impact for military families who are struggling financially.H.R. 1078, called the Military Hunger Prevention Act, would make troops and their families eligible for food supplement benefits. Many families are not currently eligible for the assistance because their Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) is counted as income when determining eligibility for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). “Military families making great sacrifices in service of our country should not be struggling to put food on the table. I continue to work with my colleagues in Congress and push for the enactment of the Military Hunger Prevention Act. This bipartisan, common sense solution will ensure that we properly care for our men and women in uniform and their families,” said Rep. A Bay County, Mich. man was bitten by a pet cobra and given 28 vials of antivenom from Florida's Miami-Dade County.According to the Detroit Medical Center, the 26-year-old Pinconning Township man was bitten on July 14 by an Albino Monocled Cobra he was keeping as a pet.He was taken to the hospital after becoming nauseated, vomiting and drowsy. He then suffered respiratory paralysis and stopped breathing from the venom, where he was taken to the Detroit Medical Center where he was given the antivenom.Toxicology at the DMC first contacted the Toledo Zoo and eight vials of general antivenom were sent to the DMC and administered to the patient within a half hour of arrival. The antivenom covers some but not all poisonous snakes, and it had little effect on the patient as he continued to worsen.After, toxicology contacted the Miami-Dade Emergency Response Team which dispatched 20 vials of antivenom and administered to the patient.The monocled cobra is native to the Asian countries of India, China, Vietnam, and Cambodia, as well as Malaysia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, and Thailand. (KGTV) -- The first major storm of the season moved into San Diego County Friday and is expected to bring cool and rainy weather to the region.According to the National Weather Service, the storm could dump as much as an inch of rain along the coast.
