The Lima Police Department in Ohio has issued a statewide endangered missing child advisory for four children taken by their mother who doesn't have custody of them.Their mother, Marianne Merritt, is said to be headed to Florida. Authorities are looking for a vehicle that is described as a dark blue 2000 Chrysler Voyager with Ohio license plate: FMQ3175. The minivan has a white passenger door.Damara Croley,13, Benjamin Karl- Leland Croley, 12, Patience Wilson, 9, and Damien Wilson, 8, were taken by their non-custodial mother, according to a release.Authorities said Merritt's boyfriend, Charles Perkins, is believed to be with them. He is said to be abusive toward the children and has active warrants. The Ohio State University announced on Friday that its investigation into coach Urban Meyer's handling of domestic violence allegations involving Meyer's assistant coach Zach Smith will conclude on Sunday, as scheduled. A six-person review board investigating the matter will then draft a report, which will be discussed at a closed-door meeting of the university's board of trustees. Following the meeting, which will likely take place sometime next week, university president Michael Drake could announce possible sanctions. Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave on Aug. 1 after a report published by former ESPN reporter Brett McMurphy claimed Meyer knew that Smith's wife had accused her husband of assaulting her. McMurphy also published photos of the woman which included a number of bruises. Those photos had previously been shared with Meyer's wife Shelley, who is also an employee of Ohio State. On Aug. 3, two days after he was suspended by OSU, Meyer released a statement admitting that he had lied to reporters about his knowledge of the allegations but claimed that he had followed proper protocol in reporting the incident to university officials. The alleged incident took place in 2015, while Smith was a wide receiver coach for Ohio State. Smith was not charged for the possible incident and did not face any punishment from Ohio State, according to public records obtained by Scripps National.Smith was fired in July when McMurphy had uncovered that Smith's wife had placed a protection order against her now ex-husband.  1600

The parents of Otto Warmbier are suing North Korea in a 22-page complaint filed Thursday in federal court in Washington.Warmbier was a college student from Wyoming, Ohio, who was jailed in North Korea and died shortly after he was returned to the United States in a coma.In the document, Fred and Cindy Warmbier accuse Kim Jong Un's "criminal" regime of brutally torturing and murdering the 22-year-old during his 17-month-long captivity from Jan. 2, 2016, through June 13, 2017.“Otto was taken hostage, kept as a prisoner for political purposes, used as a pawn and singled out for exceptionally harsh and brutal treatment by Kim Jong Un. Kim and his regime have portrayed themselves as innocent, while they intentionally destroyed our son’s life. In recent days, Trump has attempted to use his favorite social media platform to spread disinformation about the election process — but Twitter has fought back.Between early Tuesday morning — after polls had closed in most of the U.S. — and noon ET on Friday, Trump has sent a tweet or retweet 37 times. Twitter has applied disclaimers to 13 of those tweets.Of those disclaimers, 12 indicate that "some or all of the content" about the election in the President's tweet is "disputed" and possibly "misleading."
