BEIRUT (AP) — Lebanon’s prime minister says he is stepping down from his job in the wake of the Beirut port explosion last week that triggered public fury and mass protests.In a brief televised speech, Prime Minister Hassan Diab said on Monday that he is taking “a step back” so he can stand with the people “and fight the battle for change alongside them.”He said: “I declare today the resignation of this government. Brookstone filed for bankruptcy and will close its remaining 101 mall stores.The mall and airport seller, best known for massage chairs, quirky gadgets, and travel luggage, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in federal court on Thursday. It was Brookstone's second bankruptcy filing in four years.The company will keep its 35 airport stores and website open and running while it attempts to find a buyer. It has secured a million loan to finance operations during the sale.Brookstone's CEO said in a statement that its airport and online businesses were successful, but an "extremely challenging retail environment at malls" forced the company to close its stores there.Unabated traffic losses at malls have plagued brick-and-mortar sellers. Mall vacancies reached a six-year high last quarter as a wave of stores closed, including Walgreens, Bon-Ton, Sears and Kmart, Best Buy, Kay and Jared, Matress Firm, and GNC."They're trapped in hundreds of these B and C malls, whose traffic has been in serial decline," said Mark Cohen, the director of retail studies at Columbia Business School. BARRON COUNTY, Wis. - The home of Jayme Closs, a Wisconsin girl missing for about two weeks, was burglarized on the same weekend her parents were laid to rest.On Saturday, the Barron County Sheriff's Office says officers arrested 32-year-old Kyle Jaenke-Annis for burglary at the Closs home.According to a criminal complaint, Jaenke-Annis broke into the Closs home and stole several pieces of clothing believed to belong to Jayme, including tank tops, a dress, and underwear. According to the criminal complaint, Jaenke-Annis told authorities he was "curious about what size Jayme was". The Sheriff's Office says Jaenke-Annis has been cleared of any involvement in the disappearance but was charged in Barron County Court on Monday with Burglary and Bail Jumping. Online court records show Jaenke-Annis was facing charges for a different burglary case from August.Jayme Closs was reported missing after her parents were found murdered in their home two weeks ago. There has been no sign of Jayme since. A funeral for her parents was held Saturday afternoon. The Sheriff's Office says it has received over 2,000 tips and have closed over 1,875 of them in the search for Jayme.
