The Columbus Zoo in Ohio said visitors helped find a red panda that zookeepers discovered was missing on Wednesday.According to the zoo, visitors notified the zoo that they had spotted Kora, the red panda, around 4:43 p.m. on Thursday near the panda's habitat. The zoo said that after trying to coax the red panda down from a tree, the zoo used a tranquilizer."Amid clapping and happy tears from Zoo team members, the sleeping Kora was placed in her crate and taken to the Zoo’s Animal Health Center for evaluation where she was provided care and given a clean bill of health," the zoo said. "Kora has since been returned to her habitat in Asia Quest, where she will have the opportunity to reunite with her cubs when she wakes. Her care team will continue their overnight watch to ensure they continue to do well, and red panda father, General Tso, will have the opportunity to join them in the morning."The zoo said that the panda didn't pose a threat to the public, but was “eager” to find her.The zoo said that it had moved all of its Asia Quest animals to indoor habitats as officials continue to scour the zoo. The panda had not been seen since Tuesday evening.The red panda is roughly the size of a racoon, and is not a threatening animal. In the video, Alexander accuses Juanillo of "defacing private property" as he stenciled "Black Lives Matter" in yellow chalk on a wall at his home.Alexander and Larkin told Jaunillo that he was "free to express his opinion," but "that was not the way to do it."Juanillo then asked if it would be OK if he were chalking his own property. Alexander and Larkin said that they knew Juanillo didn't own the property because they "knew who lived there."Juanillo encouraged Alexander and Larkin to call the police if they felt unsafe. The city manager for Alameda, California, said a formal investigation is underway following the arrest of a man dancing in a street as part of his exercise routine.The man, Mali Watkins, was charged with resisting arrest. Why he was arrested in the first place is unclear.On May 23, two officers from Alameda Police approached the man after police received a report that a man was dancing in the street. When police arrived, they discovered Mali dancing in the street.When asked why he was dancing, Mali stated it was part of his exercise routine.After Mali began to walk away, videos show officers grabbing Mali by the wrist and detaining him. Mali was told if he resisted, he would be charged with resisting arrest, which is what happened.The city of Alameda said that the man is a resident of the city and is African American.“At this time, I do not know the reasons why the initial officers approached the call the way they did. I am hopeful that an investigation will provide better understanding to that question,” City Manager Eric Levitt said.In the last few days, the city has released body warn camera footage from the incident, in addition to a call into the police’s non-emergency line.
